Macbook Air, the most overhyped junky computer EVER.
Can you tell who it is marketed to? Its too easy. It is marketed to the "I drink coffee at the coffee shop, using free wireless internet to check my email" kind of guy.
Doesnt even have a ethernet port. jesus.

In all fairness I have an ethernet port on my macbook pro which I've owned for over a year and I have not once used it.
I am personally not in dire need of the missing features everyone seems to be complaining about. Otherwise I would turn my interest elsewhere.
Maybe those who likewise have different needs in an ultraportable laptop should do the same. End of story.

its not a mainstream laptop. its a ultra-compact laptop line, specifically for those on the go a lot. Ethernet port usb adapter and other peripherals can be bought, but definitely not directed towards the average user. it isnt a "junky" computer when comparing to other laptops in its class and the software, multi-touch technology it comes with. A macbook pro would definitely be more power for your buck, but some people only need something to slip in their bag, and take anywhere, and are willing to pay for that "compactness".
