Did anyone have any offers credit this past Friday? I did 3 offers on Monday and none of them credited. I'm wondering if maybe they took the day off on Friday or if I'll be screwed again considering these 3 were already replacement offers.

Hey thanks for the 3 offer site!
I was itching to do another site but I can't do many offers anymore...
I liked that it had Doubleday book club, that's the only book club I haven't done yet. They're great offers for me, because if I get any books that I don't like (like from the enrollment shipment where you don't get much of a selection) I just sell 'em on ebay and you actually make your money back and more...
BTW, do you guys know if you actually have to buy an IQ report from Tickle.com or if you just have to get an account? I spent the 12 bucks anyway but I don't know if I really had to...

[quote21a223b630="slambam"]Dont mean to hijack the thread, but how does that Doubleday work?[/quote21a223b630]
You get your enrollment package of 5 books for a total cost of like $15 with shipping, then you have to buy 4 books in the next 4 years, but their prices are pretty good, 30-70% off of publisher's price, usually. So it ends up costing about 50-60 bucks total, if you never order more than the commitment. but like I said if you sell the books from the enrollment shipment you can usually make that back on ebay...
The Crafter's Choice, Literary Guild and Good Cook clubs I think you only have to buy 2 more books.
Of course, like all clubs you have to respond to "featured selections" every month but you can do it online.
The offer may not be for everyone, but I happen to have an ebay bookstore so it works for me

you arent out any money, but you dont have credit either. and now you saved 13 bucks but you cant do the offer for credit. you saved 13 but the lost like 100 buy not having it credit.

You can try for manual credit but if they dont give manual credit for people that are paying for their offer, i dont see how you expect to get credit for spending no money at all and not even submitting a credit card.

Good luck wiht that. they will tell you to wait 30 days before you can get manual and then they will resubmit it to the sponser for approval for the next 15 years. I got an offer that i been waitng on manual for four a year and it still hasnt shown up. LOL

YTB does not get their money from TICKLE if you don't spend over $12. So if they don't get their money you are not going to get yours it is that simple.

I am not sure if you understand how this all works or not... They get money if you sign up with tickle yes.... They do not get enough if you do not order the enhanced results which is spending more than $12..

I will go into further detail to help explain. If you work with referring people in any business you get commission for the ref if a transaction is made. When you and the company make the agreement you set up values that determine how much you will make for each type of ref.

I personally do not care if you pay the 12.95 and neither does YTB they will still get a little bit for the REF to the company. It is not going to be enough though for them to qualify you for completing the offer.

DW

This might dumb it down a little more for you.

If I get you to be my ref for a site and I need you to get 100% from the many offers available and you only complete 10% I will not get enough from the ref to pay you the amount promised.

Yeah but the whole concept of tickle does not fit that category. Someone like Britannica would want that cause it is an online resource that I am sure gets a lot of more views than some tickle test site.

I'm just saying that you should know that something like tickle would want you to purchase the results, I know they are not looking for traffic.

There is certainly nothing in the offer itself or the test/registration process on tickle that states that. BTW - I would submit that tickle.com gets WAY more traffic than britannica and therefore can "afford" to pay for hits much more than britannica can.

30-11-2007 09:20:04

Tickle was an offer about a year back on ALL of the incentive sites. In fact, it was probably one of the most popular offers. You had to purchase the membership after the test to get credit, plain and simple. They lost money and then went out of the scene for a while. Now they are somewhat back (have that $12.95 test when they used to have $4.95 tests), and one can be more than certain that they didn't change their policy about not having to buy a membership.

I suppose those who didn't buy a membership and are planning on getting credit will know in time, though.

Dear lilililililililili,

Thank you for contacting us.

In order to receive a completed credit from the Tickle.com sponsor offer, you would have had to purchase the Tickle IQ test results. However, you would have had to purchase that through the links they provided in the email once you completed that test. You may no longer have access to that. In that case you would have to complete an offer to replace that of Tickle in order to qualify for this gift item.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

It has obviously been more than 6-8 weeks. Is there any honest estimate as to when I should receive my gift? I don't care if I have to wait longer, but a realistic time period is nicer then waiting 3 months after being told 6-8 weeks.

I'd like to know what you said as well. I was really nice to them when I called the other day considering that someone got the same gift I'm waiting for but was confirmed a month AFTER me. All she could say was "I'm really really sorry." then proceeds to tell me that he probably asked for his gift to be expedited but they don't do that anymore. I don't mind the waiting I guess, But to allow some one who was confirmed AFTER me to get their gift before me is totally unfair.

Sucks that IDeal and all the other ones folded on putting out good sites, thats what really generates money for them and sadly i haven't seen any in months, and dont think we will anytime soon.

Between the network that we found and this, this is our only source of side income for peanuts, because really what we do to get these gifts is alot less than what many people have to deal with on a daily basis to just make $200 to $400 a week to feed their families.

[b175b75915b]Sucks that IDeal and all the other ones folded on putting out good sites, thats what really generates money for them and sadly i haven't seen any in months, and dont think we will anytime soon. [/b175b75915b]

Between the network that we found and this, this is our only source of side income for peanuts, because really what we do to get these gifts is alot less than what many people have to deal with on a daily basis to just make $200 to $400 a week to feed their families.[/quote175b75915b]

i-Deal has $750/8 and $600/8 out right now, and how would low offer requirements for high value gifts make them money? They lose money when we complete their sites.

Can anyone keep an eye on Nuitech this winter and see if they change the terms again for like a month where you dont have to keep offers? That was great last year, my mom got an Alienware laptop and I got a $1000 visa.

I really hope they do that again this winter.

That would be nice if they did, but I think last year that was a little test that didn't turn out the way they hoped. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling they won't be doing that again.

well I mean because it gets the hype going and theres always going to be a group of people who dont get to finish the sites or who still do it as the requirements go up, thats only why I said that.

and yes that alienware site was one I was able to do too.....who knows maybe it'll be a christmas time routine for them.
