Bestrewardsaround.com XBOX360 Elite and Halo 3

I signed up for Bestrewardsaround.com and then when I had fulfilled my offers, I signed up for freeipodsguide to see who else has succeeded with this company. I found the thread about the televisions and thought I was good. A month went by and I hadn't gotten accepted so I filled out a few more offers (keeping detailed info and the names of people I spoke to upon cancellation) and I checked the website every few days.
I got the goahead to send in my 1099 and my redemption certificate (which I kept copies of) and I sent them both in USPS (with delivery confirmation). I also received an email= from email=george@directtechnology.comgeorge@directtechnology.com from email=george@directtechnology.comgeorge@directtechnology.com/email (customer service). The 1099 and redemption certificate went out 5/31 and was accepted by the recipient on 6/2. I expected 30 days, per the website and freeipodsguide. I also noticed that someone has been trying to contact people on freeipodsguide about the illegitimacy of their phone number or email address. (ContactMolly)
I checked today, about a month and a half later, and BestRewardsAround.com is acting like I never had an account on record. This is scary for me, especially as a newbie.
If the problem is my email or phone number, I'm still reachable. If not, I'll be posting here again with updates. I'm determined to get my stuff
UPDATE Seems to be working again. I'll still update this post with my progress.

Molly might not work for Ideal anymore? Or not come to the forums anymore...she hasn't been around in a long time.

That's common, nothing to worry about. It may be i-deals database refreshing or something, but it's always temporary. It only lasts for like a max of 15 minutes.

in a couple of weeks, you will receive an e-mail confirming they received and processed your certificate...then you just have to wait around for them to send it out to you.

MIght as well do the 12 offer plasma site down below.

Please let me know what the status on this is.
Bestrewardsaround.com is still running ads for this. I saw it this morning and clicked. I've never done anything like this and am completely new. I always figured even if it wasn't a fraud it probably wasn't worth the savings or time. (or both).
I'm about to check out the plasma deal that was referred to above.
The Elite Xbox 360 now retails at Best Buy for $449 and Halo 3 is $60 (give or take $10). So that's $510 before tax.
Bestrewardsaround.com needs you to complete 2 silver offers, 2 gold offers, and 4 platinum but they don't say how much that could add up to.
I'd love it if Siddhiyana or someone who has fullfilled this could let me know what the total amount spent on the offers is.
(i'm well educated, but am completely new to this arena so don't go crazy on the lingo...thanks)

no one knows what offers you will do. look at what offers they have
pick 8 you think you might want to do
then ad them together and you will find out how much it will cost you.

There is to be NO discussion of what offers to complete and how much they cost. It's a basic rule of freebie etiquette, and if you can't accept that, then move on. And I'd also ask you to tone down the attitude. You can easily see for yourself whether a site is worth doing by merely examining the offers and their requirements.
But if you're going with the notion that you are intending to do the cheapest offers without any intention of seriously trying them and spending more money with at least some of them, then you'd best just avoid the whole thing. Advertisers have to sell product to fund these incentivized ventures, and cheapskates that never intend to buy a single product or service are hurting this industry.

I do indeed apologize for how that came across. I should have gone back and edited that as I definitely didn't mean to sound like that. I think I had something else on the brain while posting.
I didn't even know this whole freebie world existed so I'm quite new, I wasn't aware of any etiquette although I didn't assume there wasn't any.
Thanks for the reply David; I'm not looking to go the cheapest route on the offers (if it's something I want, I'm going to get it), I basically didn't want my wife screaming at me because I got into something that cost more than I thought it would. I simply couldn't find on these sites how to view the offers before you started the process and that is all I really wanted to do.
It seems people are saying to try and go for the Plasma, which I don't have and would LOVE. Anyone seen a new site recently without the referrals? (Can I ask that question?) ?
zr2152
08-10-2007 07:06:12
yes you can ask that question )
As for a site with a plasma and no ref, no there is nothing floating around at the moment. If you can wait for a while and really want a plasma or LCD, you could go ahead and do the brandarama 4 offers for a $1000 Visa giftcard. The only downside to doing that is that you will be waiting 4-5 months to receive your giftcard.
It is an easy site to do and easy and can be a nice surprise in 5 months.

If, as I do, you pay for postage and print your mailing labels online at USPS.com, it auto-corrects any ZIP errors such as that, which is probably why most of us haven't had any problems with delivery.

I have no idea if its a UPS or USPS box...The PO probably lost it.
Also, now when you print out the certificate..it doesn't say the name above the address. I thnik before, it would ask you to send to Bestrewards.com prize center. Now it doesn't... but you need a name to mail anything from the post office.

And they seemed to have fixed the certificate snafu on their website. Although the certificate does change confirmation numbers each time, why is that exactly?
Am I OK to send it to the 17013 zip and all? Seems like people are having issues with getting it there.
