Nuitech and I-Deal and YF, oh my!

Is there any quick and dirty way to identify the various backbone systems that are talked about here in DIY. For example, what is a surefire, telltale identifying mark of an I-Deal site?

The frequent contributors here are really great at helping people with what system they are considering but the "teach a man to fish" approach may create fewer threads and foster a more informed community. All you experts - can you help guide the rest of us noobs through these uncharted waters?

YFD usually has a duck for the little browsing icon. It's an iPod for this forum, but it shows a duck usually for YFD.

i-Deal-click the Check Status button, if it shows something like this
http//www.sleeknewlaptops.com/account.cgi?config=2147 that is i-Deal

Nuitech will have this
www.theuseful.com/redeem.htm

it will be blue with whatever the domain name is in the blue

That's how I tell.

Nuitech terms and conditions first line

[quotedf12023768]Welcome to the Theuseful Web site (hereinafter the “Site”), operated by Net Radiance (“Company”). [/quotedf12023768]

It's always Net Radiance no matter what the site name.

Just updating for my reference.

YFD has the title [site url] GENERAL MEMBERSHIP as the TOS header, "How does this work?" and "3 Easy Steps to Get Your Gift" as the first couple of sections in the TOS.

[quoteeb468f4496]Registered Copyright Agent, PO Box 390520, Mountain View, CA 94039-0520.[/quoteeb468f4496]
At the bottom of the TOS. Customer service is also at the Mountain View address. They have the same 801 number for CS (yes, you can call CS).

Same text throughout exists in their TOS, Privacy Policy, and About Us pages.

Any variations?
