So a friend of mine called the Gift Reward Center today to ask them about the new T.O.S. and recorded the conversation. You can listen to it here

I don't know, no new information here but he said it was fun messing with the agent for a while. It's just a bunch of bull sh!t.

Don't you hate how they always interrupt if your question is too long for them

Zing! I was thinking about mentioning that, but was too lazy to look him up and see if MI was a 1-party state.

Is this what you are looking for?

[quoteb822d081ea]PARTICIPATION IN OFFERS AND FRAUD

Posting information on a website, forum, or auction that has to do with "canceling the offers" included, but not limited to, cancellation phone numbers, cancellation time frames, and any encouragement or direction to cancel the offers after signing up with them, is strictly prohibited and constitutes grounds for termination of account and disqualification from receiving any gifts. Users that are found to have fraudulently created orders on advertisers' sites solely for the purpose of receiving credit towards a gift will be disqualified from receiving a gift. For purposes of participation in this program a user will be deemed to be Fraudulent if the user signs up for advertiser’s offers and subsequently cancels three (3) or more of those offers for which a purchase has been made within a 90 day time period from the date of signing up for the offer. Additionally, any user that is deemed to be Fraudulent will not be given credit for any other offers that were previously completed and will be banned forever from participating in the company’s programs.

Users agree to submit accurate and valid information on all Advertiser offers. Failure to submit accurate information or valid credit card information will be considered Fraudulent and the Company will have no further obligation to provide a gift and the User will lose all credit for previous offers completed towards a gift. Additionally, any user that submits inaccurate information will be forbidden from ever participating in the company’s programs.

A user may not "walk" a prospective member through the creation of an account or any subsequent campaign activity on our sites and give directions on how to make orders on our advertisers' sites and immediately canceling the order after receiving credit. If a user is found to have "walked" a prospective member through the signup and/or offer process with instructions on which offers to complete and then cancel after receiving credit, all involved parties (both the users making the posting and the users signing up through the posting and the canceling their advertiser orders) will have their accounts placed on hold and disqualified from receiving a gift.

Users may only receive credit for first time offer completions that are conducted within 90 days of new account signups. If the user has previously signed up for an offer elsewhere, he/she cannot receive credit for completing that offer on our network. For example, a user who is already a member of eBay may not sign up for the eBay offer through our website.

Someone on scam.com reported that NT is now known as Net Radiance... can anyone confirm this?

Ha, I think I'll stick with calling it NT since I liked NT and now very much dislike NR.

As far as we are concerned (freebie vetrans)...I think NT is definetly dead.

not only do the new terms stink but as they said in the conversation that it will take at least 3 months to get your gift.

06-03-2007 16:52:10

Ok so for all the sites I have outstanding with nuitech. Now when I complete them (since I did it before march 1st) wil I have to wait 90 days for fullfillment or will it go straight through since my account is before the acted date?

justinag06

06-03-2007 17:30:13

I would assume that you wait, but why don't you call nuitech yourself and ask them that.

... and please record, upload, and post it for our listening pleasure, ha, but BE SURE to tell them that this call may be recorded for quality and training purposes, heh.

Yes, no one will sign up for thier sites now, not even the unsuspecting.

i agree with you! 3 months to receive a gift is too long

LOL, i like that post more of these mp3's!

We're just a small fraction of the people who do nuitech sites.

Hmm... I signed up before march 1 but I never did an offer till today. I finished a whole site in one go... Before checking these forums GRR. I did 2 OODs on the last page as well I hope my account still goes through. I freekin did a nui site cause they used to be fast now I might have to freeking wait 3 months

tuxmaskone

18-03-2007 11:15:02

hrm, I did a gift rewards over summer and it was great. Got a MBP for less than $150 total cost.

What are these new TOS? Does this mean we can't cancel or return our offers anymore?

I have $2000 Visa card finance-offer account that I haven't started yet... maybe I won't.

EatChex89

18-03-2007 22:12:29

so I just listened to this mp3. I'm pissed about the new TOS, and their offers are ridiculous now!

Unfortunately they are dead to us, but still very much alive to all the unsuspecting internet users out there who think they are going to get something for free by following "a few simple instructions".

I completed my site ($2000 gift card) a few days ago, but I started doing it around january and had about 15 offers completed out of 18. Just 4 days ago I finished the last three offers (they take forever to cycle them!) and mailed my vouchers in friday. Does the new tos affect me?

No, I don't think so... the interpretation that seems to be going around is that if you signed up on the gift site before the new T.O.S. went into effect you are not bound by them. I would call NT and make sure though... record the convo and post it for our listening pleasure.
