What is the deal with having to get notarized with Nuitech?

If you want your gift you just have to get the voucher notarized. Its that simple.

Don't you usually have to pay for that?

That's a pain.

Its free at some banks if you have an account there. If you have to pay for it, its usually just around $10. It only takes a few minutes to get something notarized. Would you rather waste 10 bucks and just a little bit of your time or rather not get your gift at all?

You can go to your bank and get it done for free. Also most universities and colleges have a notary on staff at all times, so if you have one in town, that is free as well.

According to them
[quote18da1f3ec4]26. Why do I need to have my documents notarized?

The notary section of our Confirmation Form and our Gift Redemption Voucher are present for your protection, as well as ours. This notarization assures us that you are the person who qualified for the Gift, and assures you that no other person purporting to be you can claim your Gift.[/quote18da1f3ec4]

Its to protect us as much as it is to protect them. The notarization proces ensures no one will try to punch in emails for nuitech sites inorder to steal our gifts. lol

There has to be a reason for them to add it though since they didn't have the requirement initially. Maybe some people used fake names and social securtiy numbers but their real address so they wouldn't have to pay any taxes on their gifts.

Some people just worry about the wrong things ... Sheessh ... Imagine ... Worrying about less than $10 that will help them get so much more. JUST freaking amazing. shock

In reality there IS "some cost" (money AND/OR time) involved. <sigh>

Well I've already spent $80 on offers, and I'll have to spend another $130 on the last two offers and then $10 on the notary. Another $80 and I could just buy an Xbox. Hardly worth it.

What nuitech site are you doing? For $250, my friend got a Xbox 360 and a 37" Plasma HDTV? shock

So you would rather save $10 and not get a Xbox 360 instead? Just go to your bank and see if you could get it done for free.
