need to prove value for ups insurance claim (I-deal 42"

So i received my tv about a month ago... i shipped it ups to my brother and they of course broke it. I insured it for $1500 and the claim is approved. However, i need to prove the original value of the tv. Anyone know where they purchased the tv from or how to get any info to prove the original value of the tv?

They purchased mine (and most if not all, I believe) from PC Connection[=http//www.pcconnection.com]PC Connection. However they don't currently show that model in stock. It may just be OOS or might be discontinued by now.

i submitted a print screen from panasonic.com showing $1700 and one from buy.com showing $1509... however that proves replacement cost, i have to prove original value and then i get paid out the lower of the two... think pc connection will be able to give me the invoice?

Probably, since they have your shipping address. However many (like mine) didn't even have my name, just "Fulfillment Center" and my address. You could call them and ask if they can pull the order by your address and mail/e-mail you an invoice.

Ahreno I think you were my ref or maybe I was your ref...or possibly, you are my ref's ref...but anywhere you got the TV before me!!. When did you start processing...I went on mid sept I think.
