This looks fairly decent.. not sure if anyone has heard of them before.

6 offers.. no ood for any of them, 2-2-2 for a decent selection of gifts.

Don't take that survey, just login after sign up and it will take you to the offer page ;)

Damn, that WAS a survey from hell! I'm still working on it! shock

I was too paranoid to bypass it completely, since I figured they might check impressions or something and DQ if you didn't go through it all.

who owns this site? Are they confirmed legit?

The survey died on me, after about a billion ads it finally took me to a blank page and nothing is loading. I reloaded, went back and resubmitted the prior survey page, etc. Nothing. Checking your status just tells you what offers you've completed but doesn't have a link to an offer page.

Edit got a confirmation e-mail, which takes me to my offer page. )

The offer list is almost identical to I-Deal, as is much of the site template. However many DIY's share this same layout, and this one's T&C are not I-Deal's. Their contact information shows them being in CT and actually lists a contact phone number, something I-Deal doesn't do.

WHOIS lists them as registered to "PolariStar LLC".

PolariStar.com was registered in 1999. I also found many other sites/services belong to them on internet.

I think will complete www.freegiftcardcenter.com first, since it only requires 1 offer for a 50$ giftcard D

EDIT nvm, all sites requires 2 offers on each page (

can we get a list of their sites?

Look at the top of the page before you do any offers... no matter what you sign up for, the top page reads Complete offers to get a $50 Giftcard.

Reminds me of SurveyTestPanel and the screwy Backend infrastructure they had...

Where does it say that? I'm looking at the top of my offer page 1 and it says

[quote9c427dab91]Congratulations! To qualify for your FREE Ipod, Xbox, PlayStation 3, Digital Camera, Laptop, or LCD TV continue by fully completing any 2 of the Silver offers listed below! [/quote9c427dab91]

I dunno about skipping the survey
Receipt of the free incentive gift requires
1.) Completion of offer terms, including age and residency requirements; shipping address verification; and registration with a valid email address
[b8d727546ab]2.) Completion of user survey. [/b8d727546ab]
3.) Participation in sponsor offers.

Yeah, that's why I didn't want to skip the survey. Unfortunately I don't know if I completed it all or not -- it eventually just took me to a blank page and wouldn't go any farther no matter how many times I refreshed, backed up & resubmitted the prior page.

It led me to a blank page as well.. but I got the confirmation e-mail and that lead me directly to the offers.

Site's weird. It says 2-2-2, but then at the top of the third page, it says complete six offers and in the TOS it says four offers on the last page. I think I'll pass.

For me each page heading says "Participate in any 2 of the advertiser offers listed below!" and I don't see anywhere in the T&C about 4 offers on page 3.

Edit Ah I see where in the Help section it says 8 offers total, 4 on page 3. I'm hoping that's just a cut & paste typo, which is pretty common on these sites. Still even if it's 8 or 10 offers, there are no OOD's and no refs required, so it would still be a pretty good deal. I just don't have enough offers there to finish, since I've done 3 I-Deal sites so far and they have all the same offers. (

Well I'm gonna give it a go unless someone has any negative info. The fact that they have a number is reassuring, but I think I'll call it first to see how professional it is before I invest. I'll keep you posted

dm14ar15

29-06-2006 19:00:35

well i change my mind. the answering machine when i called the number sounded more like a cell phone than anything else and when i looked through the terms it said may take up to 4 months and with something unproven that could mean more like 6-7. its just worth bein the guinea pig. i guess i'll just have to wait patiently these last few weeks for my two laptops and hdtv

does anyone have their contact info?
email or phone?

all i see is their address.

i did this offer thing, and i'm waiting for them to show up on my completed offers list....
