I was searching for some good ideal sites since I was successful with pocketpc4free and this seems to be the highest offer per dollar ratio (most other ideal sites with the same requirements are for around $500).

There is a 7-day waiting period for the FIRST time you complete offers. So you should receive credit 7 days from today. After that, if you find yourself in a position where you didn't receive credit for one or two, if you do offers after that initial 7-day period you will get credit next day.

Just FYI guys & gals, but in the past whenever we formalized a conga for an I-Deal site, the reqs went up almost overnight. So when YourCoolFreeStuff came about, we didn't make a formal conga -- we just PM'd links around -- and it seemed to take a bit longer before reqs' were raised. We have to assume they monitor these boards, and while there's no proof that there is a correlation between congas and raising reqs, it has seemed to be so in the past.

The rep over at a4f said you can complete offers from the same company as long as they're not the SAME OFFER. So doing Time Factor and LeanLookRX is completely fine. But doing LeanLookRX when you've already done it in the past is fraud.
I'd recommend just playing it safe though and just finding offers that aren't related at all... in the end, it probably won't matter.. but just to be safe. They have enough offers to choose from.

In general, DIY sites including I-Deal aren't as strict on IP auditing as Freepay and the other ref sites, so he's probably okay.
Still, it's not a good idea to signup from work or other public places. Always signup from home, and complete offers from home, just to be safe. Checking status from other locations is okay.

FYI, My referal who signed up for me on YourCoolFreeStuff showed up as "Pending" and showed a Date, but never showed their email address.. After his 6 offers were Approved, the referral status turned green the next day, as usual and I was able to print out my certificates without a problem... So i believe the "referral status" showing only a date, and pending -- is just a bug, everything still goes through fine (you just gotta make sure that according to the time of signup) that it was in fact, your referral you were speaking with.

Yeah, some offers take longer to credit than 7 days. On CSC, the Disney DVD club took 19 days for me -- I had given up and completed a replacement offer. But my ref did Disney and I believe his credited in 7 days, so YMMV.

Forget about manual credit -- I-Deal doesn't do manual credit. Even if they did, you'd have to wait 30 days to apply and you only have 60 to complete the site. The offers are cheap enough (especially that one, it was only a buck), so just do another.

All I-Deal offers take a minimum of 7 days to credit initially. A few take more. After 7 days, additional offers usually green in 24 hours but may take up to 7 days as well. This is asked and answered many times over in all the I-Deal threads around here.
As to reporting bad offers to I-Deal, you can try e-mailing them but don't expect a response. I assume if we're not getting credit then I-Deal isn't getting paid, so when enough people point out to them that they're doing those offers, I-Deal will drop them or get it fixed. Unfortunately that is not likely to happen during your 60 day limit, and since manual credit is out of the question, all we can do are extra offers.

Give it up to 2 weeks. On YCFS it took mine 8 days from receipt to be approved. CSC was same day, but that was a different marketing company handling that one (BullsEye).

They didn't shutdown and run, their domain expired. Not the first time this has happened with an I-Deal site.
It would probably be a good idea from now on to check the domain expiration on any I-Deal site you're planning on doing, and avoid those expiring within 60 days.

You can call I-Deal all day long, but you won't get anybody. You'll get a recording asking you to leave a message and they'll call you back, which they never do.
Unless somebody has a direct line they aren't sharing...
As I said, this isn't the first time they let a domain expire, and they didn't renew the last one. Those that were in processing for the site were good to go, but those still working on greens were screwed.
I-Deal creates a boatload of sites, and I think they just lets them run their 1-year course and die. Which is why everybody from now on should automatically check a site's domain registration before starting it. Fortunately I'm on my 3rd I-Deal site and can't do any more until new offers show up (or six months passes). But if I do another I'll be checking the domain, and won't start if it's within at least 90 days of expiring.

I don't know for sure it's over, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
The best you could hope for, as far as contact, is if somebody printed/saved the T&C and knows which marketing company was running the site. Then use the cs@ e-mail address for another site run by the same company to send an e-mail asking POLITELY what you can do. Chances are slim you'll get anywhere, but it's the best chance at contact you've got. They are known to answer about 1 out of 1000 e-mails, maybe you'll get lucky. )

Okay, once again they didn't just pull the website. Their domain expired. They registered the domain a year ago, and their year is now up. And historically, when this happens, they don't go and renew old domains because they're constantly opening new ones. So they just let the old ones die off.
Yeah, it stinks for those in the middle of doing the site, but it's not like they just made a conscious decision to "pull" the site, either.

Yes they do just "expire." Notifications are sent out, sure, but they don't have to be acknowledged. Companies like I-Deal register entire blocks of domains at a time. Somebody likely isn't sitting there waiting for notifications to come in and responding to them.
I-Deal is constantly registering new domains and opening new sites. I suspect their strategy is to let old sites die off from domain expiration. When the domain is gone, the site is gone for good -- I haven't seen them renew a domain yet. Companies that intend on keeping domains long-term don't register/renew for 1-year like I-Deal is doing, they buy several years at once.
It's crappy customer service, but it's easier for them to handle as it kills off the workload from the old sites. Again, this isn't the first I-Deal site to disappear like this from domain expiration.

Hello,
My name is Captain All That and I am a customer of Red Turtle Investments, LLC. Recently, I signed up on one of the websites they managed. The Website is www.freelawngear.com. I completed all the requirements to receive the $1450 Lawn Care package that they offered and I was waiting on my status to update, then without warning, they're site disappeared.
After doing some research we found that their domain name had expired on June 17th, 2005 and it left myself and other users without any way to check on the status of our accounts and direct contact information. With the intent on filing a complaint, I went to the Better Business Bureau website and was able to glean the following phone number (702) 871-8678. After doing a quick search I came across the Eastbiz website and the services you offer. At this point it became obvious that Red Turtle Investments, LLC had gone to great lengths to hide their identity.
A few minutes ago I called the phone number and spoke to the receptionist and I was assured she would send an email to Red Turtle Investments advising of the problems users are experiencing on their website. I will follow-up on that call in the next couple of days to see if you have received a response. In the meantime, please note that there are hundreds, if not thousands of users who were in the process of taking advantage of services provided by www.freelawngear.com. The information I found is public knowledge and there is a possibility your office will be inundated with calls. Also note that if people feel they are being scammed, and your company is operating as the front for Red Turtle Investments, then it may reflect negatively on your business.
My advice would be to advise Red Turtle Investments of the possible strain their mismanagement of domain names may place on your business and the importance of rectifying this situation as quickly as possible.

It seems weird that just because their domain expired, the site would just shut down. They still have all our information and everything, but I guess this is just an iDeal tactic for not sending out gifts. Unfortunatly, no matter how hard you guys try, I am sure nothing will ever come out of this. Which really sucks, becuase I just got a couple of friends that never have done free stuff to do this site, and I assured them that it was going to be legit. This is gonna be great having to tell them that its done.

Enom buys up expiring domains and resells them - they have nothing to do with the freebie scene, except if they buy a freebie site name to resell.

So... I spoke with Sherri at East Biz and she called her contact info for Red Turtle... and the number listed went to a guy who said he is no longer associated with the company. Sherri tried to press him for some updated contact info and the man said when he sees the guy who runs it, he'll pass on the request for updated info.
Sherri apologized to me and actually gave me the number to the guy. If you're interested... PM me. I'm not sure if I want to post it in a public forum since it's not listed...

Some people have gotten their plasma's in 2 weeks.
But what I meant by rapid-fire shipping was all the I-Deal sites shipping out now at once. Back at the first of the year, they seemed to be shipping out a small handful of items every 2 months or so. In the last month or so they're shipping almost weekly from every site it seems like.

No way you could be DQ'd for just clicking an offer twice. It's licompletingli an offer twice that will get you DQ'd.
Now it's possible there was a cookie crossup when you clicked a different offer by the same company, that made it look like you completed the previous offer again. Or perhaps you hit your back button in your browser after completing an offer, and let it re-post the data which would be like entering a 2nd order.
But all of us have probably clicked through a single offer multiple times, and I've never heard of anyone (myself included) get DQ'd just for that.

Yeah... they also have a session ID attached to them which means it has to be logged into their system in order to be legit... Try hounding them. Tell them they have pretty hair and then ask them for help.

Um, I think I know what I did and didn't do. There were referral links given left and right for the first 4 pages. The last few are about the site disappearing and then reappering, not being able to do more offers or see referral links. The front of the site is often not updated when the requirements increase, at least not right away. The Terms & Conditions is always the final authority on the requirements.
HOWEVER, in this case the T&C still claim 6+1, so I'm not sure where Bentley is getting that information

You can be happy they acknowledged receipt of your forms. ;) You've made it through the final stage before either shipment or DQ.
You can still be DQ'd -- in fact DQ's typically happen after this point -- so don't get your hopes up TOO high just yet. The next thing that will happen from here is either your prize will just showup one day between 2 and 12 weeks from now, or you'll get a letter in the mail with a DQ notice and a consolation check if you're lucky.

I've never cut it that close myself, but I'm pretty certain you have 60 days to request your cert (which means you and your ref(s) are completed). The cert itself has an additional expiration date on it, which IIRC is 15 days from the day you print it.

Wait it out a bit more. If your certs are not yet processed before your 60 days expire, the site will automatically tell you you're out of luck. However when they get around to processing your certs, as long as it was mailed in time, they will approve them and re-activate your account. This has happened to several other people who finished close to expiration.
10 days is not long enough to worry about yet. My YCFS cert took 2 full weeks to process, I've seen others take a month. Mostly likely it WILL be processed and you'll be able to log in again and check your status.

If they have not processed your forms by the time your 60 days are up, your account expires automatically. However as long as you mailed the forms by the due date, when they process the forms your account will be reactivated. Just wait for the e-mail or keep checking your account every so often.

I'm thinking most of the sites do expire... that's why they offer them for a limited time... at least... that's what the spam emails say...
"hurry before this offer expires."
In any event... I don't think they're taking any new users. If you haven't gotten your referral yet... you're probably SOL.

.... no, I had everything processed and it said it should be at my house in 6-8 weeks. I have been in this stage for a little while, someone said it took them 10 days to get the check. Im getting a little worried...

for those of you who were processed, you can look at the link i posted earlier to check the status of your accounts.........
And it can take (what we've seen) anywhere from 2 weeks - 14 weeks to get your gift/check from I-Deal sites.

I was in the final step way before the offer expired, yet I still havnt heard one word from them. I sent them an email the other day, im pretty pissed because I put alot of time into this site, and it seems like it was all for nothing. Hopefully one of these days I will have a check sitting in the mail, but im not holding my breath. I know iDeal and customer service dont go in the same sentence, but if anyone has any good news please, let it be told.

I was apparently "manually" approved by Kate at the beginning of August -- after the site shut down I haven't heard anything from them. I have emailed them MANY times. I decided to file a report with the BBB...I'm hoping that might help. The lady with the BBB said that they do typically respond to complaints. If that doesn't get me anywhere I'll have to think of my next move -- I have also put way too much time, money and headaches to let this slip by.

To everyone freaking out about the closing of this site - don't go sending a ton of e-mails and don't go filing BBB complaints just yet.
The same thing happened to a bunch of us with the yourchoicereward (dell 42" tv) site back in April (I signed up on March 3rd). The site closed down and a many of us started to wonder if we were SOL.
Then in June/July, the TVs/Checks started to trickle in. Mine arrived on 08/01.
I know it's going to be hard (impossible) for most (all) of you to not bombard them with e-mails and BBB letters...but try (and give the site the time required to send your checks).

As i can see everybody is concerned whether ideal will honor your gifts, so i'll try to lighten the tension...
The very first DYI i participated in was iDeal's 42" Dell Plasma around Nov or Dec. now i cant say it was an easy site because it came with alot of headaches and frustration. Soon after i have completed all of my requirements, took a total of 11 offers to get my required 8, i submited my redmption form and they "lost" it, so i had to resubmit it 4 weeks after my first form that was submited. Finially it was approved within 2 days, i was excited! i though to myself i will get my very first plasma for free!!, but that though fell short after 2 days. The site apprently shut down?! WTF?!? i've lost all hopes and was furious because of all the efforts i put in to the site and they shut down after everything i did.
Five months later... i received a automated call from Dell to confirm my order for a TV.... I stood there curious as to what it was exactly, then BOOM it hit me, MY PLASMA!! Seven days later it had arrived at my door step and all is well............
Sooooooooooo, even though iDeal has shut down their site, it doen't nesscary mean they will not honor your gifts( only speaking from this one experience, not guaranteeing anything) Also, 10 others also received their plasma/Check.

I don't agree with DRay -- we shouldn't have to just sit and wait. I think it is unacceptable for a company to treat people like this. They were originally communicating every day through email and then suddenly stopped. I haven't heard from them in over a month. I am not just going to wait it out.

Well... the site is run by Red Turtle Investments... They have other active Ideal Sites so it's not like they're going anywhere...
Anyone processed after the 6th of July and before the 3rd of August should get their stuff at the end of this month... or the beginning of next month. I was processed on the 11th of July so that would put me at just about 7 1/2 weeks... I have faith that they'll come through.
I freaked out a little about my CSC TV that I did but I got a Check in a timely manner. Don't start freaking out just yet folks... I-deal is actually becoming one of the better companies if you aren't trying to be greedy and aren't repeating offers.

Everybody needs to just learn some patience when dealing with I-Deal. Their communication sucks. You were communicating with them up to about a month or so ago? Well consider yourself lucky, most people never communicate with them. ;)
But unless you get an explicit DQ, they almost ALWAYS come through. You may hear nothing from them for weeks or months, and then libamli you have a check/shipment. I'm very fond of I-Deal, even after being DQ'd on my 2nd site due to a ref violation -- it wasn't a surprise since I saw my ref having issues during the process. They still paid me $100 for my trouble so it wasn't a total loss. Then the 42" plasma on the bedroom wall and the 24" Dell LCD on the PC remind me that this company is good to work with, CS issues notwithstanding. ;)

Sure you can. You just can't duplicate offers or sites for 6 months according to the TOS, however I've doubtful you'll be able to do them even after 6 months since most affiliates and sponsors won't pay for duplicate leads.
Just keep to unique sites and offers and you should be fine. I've done multiples, as have several others here.
