Good day, all.

Just over a year ago, I received my first Apple Computer freebie, an iBook G4. Earlier this month, I received a free MacBook Pro.

For those who have an iBook and are looking to upgrade, I put together a few photos to show the difference between the two models.

My advice? If you want a MacBook Pro - get one NOW before the DIY Freebie sites raise the offers even more. I did have to complete 18 offers for the MacBook Pro, but it was TOTALLY worth it.

Enjoy!

Hey you are new here so we don't talk about offers crediting and stuff like that so I edited your post. Its for your protection...

I know talking about cancellation/fraud etc. is unacceptable, but I didn't think asking for a time frame on crediting was out of the question..

Well its border line but you don't want to give them a reason to DQ you. PMs are private...

same for me because eventualy you'll be forced to do some expensive offers and balancing everything gets kinda tedious.. i'm definitely tempted since that macbook just likes amazing... i think i'll stick with the new i-deal sites and just buy one for myself with the checks. 18 offers here is three compelted i-deal sites lol

That's the same thing I thought, originally ... but I took a systematic approach to it. Once you break the process down into a few easy steps (a few offers here, a few there) ... it really was quite easy and straight forward.

anyone know if nuitech has a 17 inch imac site for like 10-12 offers.

The 17" iMac's are 15 offers. The 20" are 18 offers.

Either way, the iMacs are $1299 and $1699 respectively - you'd still be better off doing 18 offers for the [b691ca4cb98]MacBook Pro[/b691ca4cb98] - which has the highest retail value of $1999.

G'luck!

[edit thanks for catching my typo, tjwor!]

U mean Macbook/PowerBook, not ibook... and you could just go for a $2000 Gift card so you can buy which ever imac you want and keep the extra loot!

So secksi.....your brag thread combined w/ the recent boot camp release put me over the top. I decided to embark on the computer-offer macbook pro journey today. I'm gonna plan it out w/ a spreadsheet to track offers, etc. I did it w/ the Bigwin Vespa, and it helped tremendously. Well....I'm off down the yellow-freebie road. I'll hopefully be getting the Macbook soon )

[bbe2b9e3572]Edit[/bbe2b9e3572] Okay, just finished putting my detailed spreadsheet together. No CC offers! (Thanks Nuitech )) The grand total for all offers looks like its gonna be around $100. Tomorrow (I mean...later today) I'm gonna start doing offers.....can't wait wink

im doing the onlinegiftrewards.com macbook pro. Its got better last page offers.

the onlinegiftrewards.com macbook pro is the same nuitech one we're talking about. 18 offers, and the last page, while not all CC's and OOD's, don't have that many options.

well cheaper for me doing the onlinegiftrewards.com once since its last page offers altered a bit when I went back to the page from the help desk page.

the problem with the 18 offer sites and stuff is that I can't sign up for credit cards, and i assume that's what will be happening

You don't have to sign up for any credit cards. I certainly didn't.

me either )

The site I signed up for like I said earlier the offers actually get switched out depending on what link you enter the offers page through. So you have a better choice.
