The timer does seem accurate though... I swtiched computers and the timer didnt reset and kept going. I mean, there was one I-Deal site that stopped new signups after a while so couldnt this one be like that as well?

Not sure, but I think that was exaggerated. THe only person around here I know of who was complaining about being DQ'd was icojones, and he admitted to duplicating offers. For example, everybody else in the huge CSC thread didn't get DQ'd to my knowledge. I just mailed out my cert and W9 this morning.

No I'm saying I will still help out but I'm a little frustrated that some who want a link and pm'ed me are signing on to the site but not checking my pm's. This doesn't hurt me,it only hurts those that are further downthe line who have to wait and risk the higher offers. As a result I'm sending the link as people appear.
We all have things to do so I understand we can't be on the computer all the time, but on the other hand time is of the essence here due to what has happened on the other two sites. Waiting around one at a time may take too long so as they come in the door the oppurtunity will present itself.

I hear ya, but normally there isn't such a rush to get in before the req's change. Yesterday saw TWO I-Deal sites up their req's to 10+2 while people were waiting for their conga ref (and I was one of those people too). Once this site came up nobody wanted to waste time, nor publish a formal conga since we're suspicious that that is what causes a site's req's to be increased. That certainly seems to be the trend, anyway -- every I-Deal site that we start a formal conga for, gets increased shortly thereafter.

Yeah, I-Deal takes 7 days to credit your initial offers. Any offers done after that should take around 24 hours to credit, however some offers are just plain slow to credit. I did 3 extra offers on CSC when 3 didn't credit, then 19 days later one of those finally went green, so I ended up with an extra green overall. The 3 extra offers I did greened in 24 hours.
With the 60 day timer running it doesn't make much sense to wait more than a couple weeks for credit before just doing another offer. And despite their T&C I don't think I-Deal issues any manual credits, so don't even bother -- the offers are easy enough to just do another.
I've got to go. Contact shaggz for his link and then you guys pass it on.
These have expressed an interest strichter, bigchan2k, paulleywaulley, and justinag06 (still waiting for a return pm from them.) Heres the thing. DoubleOcivicsi already signed up under me, and I can see his email. He told me he was having problems with Ideal and the account status part didn't seem to be working for him, so he even had a friend try his email, and that didn't work for him either, so he told me that he said he probably wouldn't do this site because he didn't think it was working. But I do have 2 email addresses underneath me as referrals. Since he thinks it's not going to work, and he's "giving up" should I go ahead and send mine to KnightTrader. I sent a pm to doubleOcivicsi about it, but I haven't heard anything back from him. What do you all think I should do?
Paulley I was giving people 2 hours to respond and 20 minutes to sign up before moving, and we got several signed up. They changed plasmatv4free last night to 10 offers and 2 refs and it seems they have been doing one plasma site a day recently. Will they do this one maybe not but if they do and you are waiting not only will you screw yourself but the other people that have posted they want a link too.
I say all that to say this; if he told you he probably wasn't going to do it I would pm those have have expressed interest and send my link to the first one to respond and have him/her send his/her link to the next in line and keep this thing rolling.
Not trying to be a butt, as that is not my nature and I believe people should be given at least a day to respond, but this situation is different in that it demands immediate attention and strong management. Someone's feelings will be hurt, but three more people will be happy.
The decision is yours.

Guys, you might wanna hurry. MarcHart just told me his pages say that he needs to complete 2+2+6 = 10 offers. Now my pages say the same, but my gift status page says that the requirements are still 2+2+2 = 6.
We might want to hurry this up some and not spread the news around too much. I recommend that anyone who sees it check their gift status pages first, not the pages with the offers, but the page for your account. Follow the requirements on it, not necessarily the page itself.
Also, don't panic and rush over this or we might get in even more trouble with another hike. I think they may be testing the waters to see a reaction to find which sites to hit next. I may be paranoid, but then again I may be right.

I signed up today without thinking about hooking up a referral to one of you, i'm very sorry. This site is weird...when i go to check my status it says i only need 2-2-2. But on the offers page it says 2 from first page, 2 from second, and 6 on the third but the status page still says 2-2-2. Whats up? If you read below does that mean that since i see the 2-2-2 and 1 referral that i made it in time before the tos change?

Looks like they've raised the req's here now like on their other sites. No surprise.
For those of you who got in early, it doesn't matter what the offer pages and T&C say -- you are grandfathered in as indicated by your status page. You only need to complete what your status page tells you. However any new refs you get will be bound by the new terms themselves.

I would believe that as long as your status page still says 2+2+2, than that's what you are to do. I think the link to the offers pages are just generic links to pages. If your status page says 2+2+6, than it looks like you were lucky enough to be part of the requirement hike. Maybe a mod would be able to further clarify this....
To those that signed up and did not use a referral link, I would say you are on your own for finding a referral until all of those who did use a referral link are taken care of. I just think it's the fair approach to take.

You get credit for your referrals offers, not his referrals. So as long as you have a referral who completes all the offers HE needs to complete then you are good. He doesn't have to complete his referrals for YOU to get the prize, only for HIM to get it.

Exactly. If his requirements are 2+2+6, then that's what he has to do to for you to get credit for him as being a completed ref.
It's pretty simple, really
For you to get credit for a ref, he has to complete all of his required offers. Whatever number that might be, and that number may be different than your number. 24 hours after he has received credit for his last offer(s), he will change from Pending to Approved in your ref list. That's all you need from him -- you don't care if he gets refs or not, that's up to him if he wants to pursue them.

Okay, I just want to post a friendly reminder to some people. I realize people get busy with Real Life(tm) and sometimes don't have time to follow up immediately. That's fine, BUT....
Please DO NOT get on these threads and ask to signup, then beg for a referral, only to let your account then sit there idle for over a week when you haven't even clicked on a single offer! The 60 day clock ticks down really fast, and if everybody waits to see what their ref is going to do before they start, then it screws the person above you. It has come to my attention that some people who made a big deal to get in on this site before the reqs went up, haven't done a thing with the site since. This is unfair because, to try to accomodate everybody, most (all, I would hope) of us refuse extra refs from here once we have what we need, in order to give the most people a chance to get their refs. I know I pointed several people who approached me for my referral link, to others who I knew still needed a ref. I could have been greedy and kept the extra refs as backups, but that's just not cool. Now if, for example, my one and only referral were to just decide they weren't really interested, after I've busted my butt and immediately completed all my offers, then I'm screwed -- no way I could get FIVE more refs to finish in the next 60 days. I'm out the money for the offers with no hope of finishing the site. It's one thing to be DQ'd or scammed or whatever by the sites themselves -- that's a risk I'm prepared to take -- but being screwed over by those of us on this side of the fence, when we're trying to help each other out by pointing out these sites and working to get refs for each other, is just wrong and something that gets my dander up. It's almost like a betrayal.
So, to summarize don't come here expecting to be helped out with refs when you aren't willing to do your part.
This is directed to nobody in particular, it's just something that has come to my attention recently, and I felt needed to be said. If you're busy and just haven't had time yet, or are waiting for payday, this isn't directed at you. It's for anybody who is just lazy or uninterested, who scheme to get in on it despite having no real interest or desire to finish.

I've looked through the T&C that Ideal has set forth for their sites. I've run into a bit of a problem. I am currently at my school right now, and when I signed up for one of their sites, I used my school address. Well I am going to complete my offers for the site now, but the problem is that I won't be at school after this thursday to receive the products from doing the offers. I would rather use my address at home for signing up for the offers, so that I can take care of it from there. Am I allowed to use a different address for doing the offers, than what I used for signing up for the site? I don't see how I-deal would be able to track that at all. I am not trying to fraud them in anyway at all, I'm just trying to be responsible, so that I can receive the products that I get from completing my offers. I don't really think I have any other options. Let me know what you all think. Thanks.....

IIRC from my CSC cert, when you submit your redemption certificate you re-enter your shipping information. Now if changing it from your signup address will cause a problem with approval I don't know, but I'm pretty sure I do remember re-typing my shipping address. Somebody else who has completed an I-Deal site can confirm that.

My status changed to approved and your gift will ship in 6-8 weeks on 5/3. Last night I sign in for the heck of it and see "disqualified" all over the place. What the? I did absolutely nothing wrong on the plasma site! Their terms state you will only get credit for an offer once (every 6 months) and the first time I did the Entertainment was on plasma (Once you have successfully completed an advertiser's offer you are prohibited from signing up for that offer.) How can they disqualify me on plasma too? Each site is run separately plus I had already been approved? evil

No, only your ref needs to complete his own offers for you to get approval.
It takes 24hrs after your ref goes approved on all his offers, to show up as an approved ref on your status. So if he just got all approvals today, you won't see it until tomorrow. If he's been fully approved for awhile, then there's a problem somewhere.

Just a quick updated folks. I did 3 of my offers about the end of last week and they have all been credited. Have to keep my money restricted at the moment so I only got the last 3 offers done in the last 30 minutes. Hope they get completed in time. Other than that, I'm just a little disappointed that I wasn't able to get a ref. in time. Too bad there aren't any people around who would just like to finish the offers for me -- never can tell what good may come of that... wink

You give me too much credit. I don't know any more than anybody else when it comes to this or any other I-Deal site. I just have a gut feeling that it's legit, due to all the I-Deal site activity that has been going on non-stop. Slow as hell? Sure. Reluctant to communicate with customers? Yep. Batching up shipments in 1-2 month cycles? Maybe. Quite possibly if you think about it.
The fact that they've paid out on at least 3 sites that I know of (Lawn Tractors, CSC, and Luxury Watch) and the fact they continue to roll out new sites, up the requirements when a lot of people start signing up, and are still approving certs, leads me to believe they will eventually come through. When I set out to do these sites, I planned on a 12-week minimum wait, and I'm not worrying until that time passes. I notice most people complaining or crying "scammers!" are those who are just at the 6 or 8 week mark. I say give it some time. I'm only 2-3 weeks after my CSC certs were approved, which was the first I-Deal site I completed, so it'll be awhile before I start sweating it. Another factor in my being more cool about it is probably due to my age -- being older than most of you, I've learned to be more relaxed and have acquired much more patience about things, compared to when I was a young person. ;)
It just doesn't make much sense to my overly-analytical brain that they would be in business to blanketly scam people. It would quickly lead to LESS business for them, not to mention the legal jeopardy they'd be in if they continue to create new sites and scam people. It's not like they're an overseas business who can't be prosecuted and sued, so they have so much to risk to be in business for as long as they have. If they had appeared overnight, signed up a few hundred people, then shutdown and disappeared, then that theory would be easier for me to believe. But their mailing addresses have remained pretty much consistent and we know the addresses are valid because they're receiving and approving certs.
Like I said in another thread look at Freepay. Now that they seem to be screwing people on the PS3 site, people are ready to yell scammer and blacklist them. But up until then, how much has Freepay shipped in the last several months? Hardly anything but a few gift cards. Yet people weren't brandishing the torches and pitchforks like they are with I-Deal. Do I think Freepay intends to scam people? No, not intentionally, I just think they have a struggling business model and are in some legal jeopardy with the lawsuits and may be holding on to as much cash as they can in case they need it. I think they'll eventually come through, just like I believe I-Deal will eventually come through.
That's all I have no inside track or other mysterious insight, no compromising photos of the CEO. Just a gut feeling.

From recent experience I think the seven day rule applies to each section. For example if you do only the silver section, wait 7 days, and both offers green...any offers you do after the seven days in the next two sections will not green in 24 hours, but will require an additional 7 days. BUT if you do one offer in each section wait 7 days and they green then each subsequent offer should green in 24 hours. JMHO

FWIW, Gevalia 12-Cup and Boca Java both credited for me on 2 different i-Deal sites. And I think one of my refs also said he did one of the Gevalia offers (don't remember which one) and got credit too.
Gevalia is great stuff, I've already ordered twice and am about to place another. Boca Java is pretty good but sent me beans instead of grind like I ordered, but when I e-mailed them they shipped out another batch of grind for free. It'll take the wife and me months to drink all this coffee. )

FWIW, Trish over on A4F is saying that, despite their T&C to the contrary, you can do multiple offers from the same company. You just can't repeat the same offer on one or more sites.
Personally, I wouldn't risk it since their T&C to the contrary could give them an out, and given the current uncertainties (at least until more of us get paid/shipped), I wouldn't want to give them any excuse.

My ref came through and at 4am this morning I got my redemption e-mail to print my cert.
But here's the funny part this site had multiple gift options up front at signup (plasmas, 360's, PS3's, laptops, etc.). I don't even remember what I chose but I think it was a plasma. I figured during the cert completion process I'd get to finalize my choice of gift... but no. The cert has no mention of the specific gift.
I don't guess anybody is far enough along with this to have been contacted to confirm their gift? I'm wondering if (assuming YCFS/I-Deal comes through on this) they'll probably just send a check and that's why they're not confirming gift selections...

Not that I recall. You mean the barcode at the top of the cert? The redemption page where you fill out your info has the CoolFreeStuff logo and pictures of a PS3, laptop, and plasma TV at the top of the page.
My barcode came through fine the first time on this cert, but the first time I generated my CSC cert, the barcode image was broken. I generated a re-print and it came through fine.

I wouldn't worry about the 60 day mark anymore since you've already completed the site. You've printed your certificate and mailed it in. As long as they receive it before the stated date on the certificate you should be fine. Did you mail it with a confirmation number/signature? For Ideal that has been almost a must lately.

This is my second time this has happened to me. The referral on getmyfreeplasmatv either didn't use the proper referral link or signed up on their own. They then needed a referral. So when the conga was organized; they "joined" and got a referral under them, with the break being between them and me. Resulting in a whole new conga line starting under them. I'm just theorizing, but when I asked for the e-mail they signed up under so I could contact ideal they wouldn't send it...........................

The normal Requirements to get credit for the "Ebay Offer" are as follows
Sign-up a New Ebay Account, Assign a Credit Card to the ebay account, then make 2, Buy-it Now Purchases. Those two buy-it nows have to be legitament purchases, ones in which the listing isn't removed after the fact.
Some people have gotten away in the past with doing two, $0.02 Ebook buy-it-nows ... but lately those have been getting removed, and feedback revoked/removed as well which would mean your ebay offer wouldn't credit.
To play it safe do like 4 lower $$ buy-it-nows ... because I think you only have a day or so to do the buy-it-nows or it wont' credit.

IIRC when I first signed up, I chose the plasma -- because it was one of the highest value gifts, and not knowing for sure if my pending CSC plasma would come through. However on the redemption cert there is no indication of what gift you're going for, so I have a feeling they may just send checks.

I did freaking priority mail on redtopsavings, and they never updated my account. evil No cs response for over 3 weeks, and my account is about to expire.
I sent yourcoolfreestuff out certified though, which seems to be working for everyone.

Certified means that someone has to sign for the package. Then if you want for a dollar extra or something they send back a copy of the persons signature.

You can add Signature Confirmation to a Priority Mail mailing for an additional $1.35 (it includes Delivery Confirmation). That's what I did with my YCFS cert. My CSC cert I just sent Priority with D.C. My CSC cert was processed the same day they received it, this one took 8 days to be processed.

Your initial offers take 7 days to complete -- no faster. Most others will complete in 24 hours after that, however there are some that tend to take longer, such as the DVD clubs.
Then there are those that NEVER credit...

We've already PM'd about this, but at this stage you can't choose anything. Your choice was made when you signed up, and there isn't another opportunity to confirm or change it.
I'm betting that they'll send checks, but I don't know if the check value will correspond to the original gift chosen or not. That would suck if somebody picked an XBox360 and got a check for $400, while those who picked the plasma got $2000. )

They don't have to receive the cert by the account expiration, you just have to be approved and get to the redemption site to get your cert by then. After that IIRC you have either 15 days or 30 days for them to receive the cert. The mailing deadline should be on the cert somewhere.

Ahh, yeah see yesterday I can believe it was there. I revisited the cert redemption page the other day when somebody else posted it, and saw it there for the first time. But when I redeemed back the first of June, I don't remember seeing it.

Sorry for not responding earlier. I checked my account, and it said that my certificate was received and processed on June 6th. That is exactly 2 weeks, which yes is incredible. I actually thought when I got a call today for delivery I was getting my iMac from istufffree.com because that certificate was processed on May 11, and so my 6 weeks is coming up this week. They even told me the fulfillment center was PC Solutions, so I thought for sure it was the iMac. My brother called me and told me that infact I got a plasma and not the iMac I thought was coming. I don't know if they accidentally switched the two, or they were just feeling nice or something and shipped it out really early. Either way I got my plasma. Now I just need to find someone to buy it from me.
As far as when I filled out my certificate, I do not remember seeing the option to "re-choose" my gift at all, not only for this site, but for istufffree.com as well. I was unaware that they were making that an option now was you fill out your certificate. I mean I guess it's a nice option, but I know I didn't have it when I filled mine out.

I"m betting after enough people completed certs without a way to choose a gift, they added it later. I just liknewli it wasn't there when I got my cert. Did you pick the plasma when you signed up, or did you send a note along with your certs? Because how else would they know you wanted the plasma? I did both, so that should cement the choice for me then.

Emailing them is pointless too since they don't respond. Molly used to respond up til about May 10th or so. The molly101@ email addy came back undeliverable saying no such domain. If/when they approve your certs, your account should be re-enabled and you'll see your status. At least that's what happened on CSC I believe. My I-Deal accounts have never expired since they approved the certs before 60 days, so I'm not speaking from personal experience, just what I remember others saying.

When I signed up for the site I picked the Panasonic Plasma. I've been thinking they'd send the check though the whole time, so I guess it was a surprise of sorts. How much do you all think I could sell the thing for on ebay?

I think I saw one go for almost $1500 recently, it was EDTV. Shipping was the buyers expense. It seems like it would be a nightmare to arrange shipping for the thing though.

Also to answer your question I just sold the LG I got from MSG for a little over 1300 on EBAY and shipping wasnt bad because I have a truck so I brought it down to UPS and shipped it at the buyers cost(~$120)

DQ's typically get a letter, at least they did with CSC. Most got a $100 check along with it.

i went almost 6 weeks since they received my certs to getting processed, my account was expired for a month too, then it changed, worry about actually getting ur gift at a certain time (

Got my $100 consolation check today. My referral "was in violation of our Terms & Conditions." (
Although I'm disappointed, and would really like to resent I-Deal for it, I have to be honest and say I'm not terribly surprised. My ref on this site was apparently brokering the offers through a relative who jumped the gun and ran through some offers before the ref had a chance to explain how things work. Then many offers didn't get credit, so numerous extras were completed.
Oh well, that's how it rolls. No hard feelings against I-Deal (yet) or my ref. At least I got my investment in offers back, I supposed they could've just DQ'd me and not paid a cent. We'll see how my 3rd I-Deal site pans out, if they DQ me too then I guess I'll take my 42" Plasma from CSC and be done with I-Deal for good. If they don't DQ me, then I'll be 2/3 -- and for the investment that's still a great return (heck even just the plasma is a great return). If the 3rd site pays out then I'm still an I-Deal fan and will be anxiously waiting for 6 months to go by and new sites to open so I can do more offers. )

I'm sorry to hear that, DMorris. ( How long was the processing wait? They just processed my forms the 26th! That was a lot faster than I expected so hopefully I will speed through and get my plasma fast! ) What shipping company do they use exactly? Any certain one?

Yep, that's it.
They use different freight companies depending on the destination. Most seem to arrive by Yellow Freight, but several were by Pitt Ohio. And "they" in this case would mean PC Connection, the vendor, and not I-Deal.

Yeah, I-Deal increases the reqs on all their sites once they get popular. The only one that hasn't upped after awhile is the 24" Dell monitor site, which is still 6+1. It either hasn't been as popular, or maybe due to the lower price compared to a plasma, they let it ride awhile longer.
