Waiting on a Plasma from YF Direct?

G'day all.

I was just curious to see who has been waiting the longest for their Plasma (not the check replacement, the actual plasma) from MarketSurveyGroup or EveryFreeGift.com.

Lets use the date that they received the certificates as "Day 1" ... how long have you been waiting?

I got my approval links on 2/1/06 still no plasma. Next Monday is officially 12 weeks, So I will give them a call and complain then.

Oops, I meant 8 weeks. They got my certs on 2/6, so I have, potentially, another month to wait. I also have completed the plasma for MSG and they got my certs almost exactly a month after, so hopefully I will have both plasmas by June or July.

they called me about 3 weeks ago to offer the check, took the opportunity to ask how long for the plasma and they said about 3 months shock
they got my certs jan 16.

I'm just over 6 weeks and still not "shipped" I've never gotten a call for the check option. I don't want to call because I never had to send in a W-9 and I'd perfer not to. I'm also at 6 weeks on a $100 GC...

I found a Pioneer PDP-42A3HD for $1499. I know it is one of there loest HD models but it is a good price I think. So I debating on calling EFG to see if they offer me $1K. If they do should I take it to buy the Pioneer? Supposed to be one of the top brands?????? Thanks

Personally I wouldn't buy a Pioneer unless it's from the Elite line. Non-Elite Pioneers are really bargain basement, Wal-Mart quality stuff.

I just called about my status and decided to take the $1000 check. I don't want to wait and I here the LG won't sell for much more than $1K. I'll be getting a better plasma from I-deal so I'll keep that one shrug

wolfeman did they offer or did you ask? Because I also called tonight to ask about the W9 and ship time and they did not offer the money to me. So that is why I ask if you asked or if they offered.

Hello,

They Received my certificates on March 8, 2006 (EFG - Sony Plasma TV) and March 15, 2006 (IOG - Toshiba Tablet PC).

But here's the catch! The YF Direct Representative told me that my "6-8 weeks" will not begin until they receive my W-9 form!!!

They also offered me the check, but I didn't take it since I don't mind the wait....its worth the extra $1000 or so to me...hehehe

I sent mine in for EFG on 1/6, and MSG on 2/6, so EFG shouldn't be too long, but I have a feeling that MSG will take forever.

Yeah I know, which sucks big time, but either way I am pulling in money. I called them today to get some more info and the woman I spoke to told me they have no idea when I am going to get my TV from EFG. I asked if it would be this year, seeing as how I am going to be moving in July and she said she did not know. LOL. Anyway, I checked the status on my MSG plasma and she offered me the $1000 check and I took it. I should get an email confirming my address and then they willissue the check in the next 5-7 business days. Long process, but I have all the time in the world to wait.

I just called to bug them. My certs were only received on 3/17, so I've got QUITE a wait ahead of me. I asked when the TVs will ship and she said they're backordered indefinately. I pressed her a little more and she said "They were saying it would be 12 weeks on top of the original 8 week wait, but now they've changed it and have no idea when they will ship" shock I also said "If I decide to wait for the TV, it will definately be a [i4255c4b83d]Sony plasma television[/i4255c4b83d], correct?" to which she replied "Oh definately." Of course that doesn't mean much since she's just a CSR, but... shrug

I said I would wait just because I want to think about it a bit. $1000 check within a week or so, or a 42" Mystery Plasma within 6 months (hopefully...)?

Well as I was literally sitting here debating whether or not to call them again and just ask for the check, I received an email from them asking me to confirm my shipping address so they can send me the $1000 check.

I went ahead and confirmed my address, but in my phone conversation yesterday I said I'd wait for the TV. I should get the check next week, and I certainly won't complain if I get a plasma in a few months ;) Though since it's obvious that they can read my mind, I doubt it.

Been answered several times, it depends on your income level, could be 0% and could be like 35%, just depends on what you earn per year...

No i'm not upset the tv is cool i plugged my laptop into it and took pictures of fig and scam on it and I accidentally posted the scam one when i was trying to post that dancing banana...

They say they got them on the 17thof jan and it is the same model everyone else recieved the LG 42px3dcv.

My $1k check took 4 days.

For my Plasmas, certs sent in Jan 23rd and received today (woulda been last week but was out of town)

did they ask either of you for a w9 for $1k check? I was told I did not need one when I was waiting for the TV then when I asked for the check they requesteed a w9? I sent it but was wondering if they did the same to you?

Same happened to my g/f, plus she had to wait about 3 weeks. On an unrelated note, if you got a shipping notice, and are unable to track it, go to the AIT website, you'll be able to from there.

They started the w9 policy right before I sent in my certs, so I just sent one in initially.

I talked Eric into letting me fax it so he emailed back last night saying he had ordered the check! Then I called my wife earlier and they were delivering my 30" flat screen, Panasonic tv. It is Christmas

My $1,000 check (the Plasma gift replacement) came today. I waited almost a month, and those of you who got your checks in 5-7 days after requesting it should consider yourselves lucky.

But, check in hand, I have absolutely no regrets. ;-)
