I ignored it. There is risk in all these sites but I don't see them not sending a gift if you did everything correct...

i prefer to sign up early instead of waiting until the requirements get harder...as we have all seen now

Bad math! In fact, terrible math. Always fun to see an attitude from a guy who thinks he's very right, but is very wrong.

Let's say there is a chain of 10 people that do the deal. 9 get a computer, the last one can't find a referral. 80 offers completed. 9 laptops delivered. That's less than 9 offers per laptop. The longer a chain goes, the closer the average gets to 8. But you were close.

Which is all moot, of course, because they haven't fulfilled a single gift in many many months and are DQing people right and left.

damn this really sucks, i made one small mistake by signing up before i knew about the conga and now i can't get an ibook because aurelius doesn't wanna do it now.

if you can give me one good reason why i would waste around 50-100 dollars and not get a ref so i can complete the site, i'd be glad to sign up.... but i really dont' think you can...

Everyone needs to understand if you want to get in on this, once you post up you want to be a part, you need to continue to check back, because most likely you'll have someone wanting to give you their referral link. When you don't respond to pms and such it just holds things up. If you have computer access than make sure you are getting on.

Andy, I don't know what to tell you. I understand where Aurelius is coming from, and I really don't blame him. You could pay him to do all the offers for you, and you would really still be making out really well. Or you could try to pay someone else to be your referral. Or we could do what was suggested earlier, and alternate back and forth between the two groups. It all depends on what everyone else thinks as far as fareness goes.

A lesson learned for some is DO NOT just go directly to the site to sign up when referrals are required. Andy iStuffFree would be getting a freebie from you, because you didn't sign up under someone, thus, that means one less payout they'll have to make.

I say give him at least another 24-48 hours; I don't have a block of free time to sit down and do the offers until tomorrow anyway. If he doesn't respond but shows up again later, he can go to the bottom of the list. Just my thoughts.

Have you read any of the other threads? It takes at least 7 days for your offers to be approved, and many times it takes weeks to get enough offers to be considered complete.

I-Deal is regularly upping req's on all their sites to 10+2, so get in on this one or YourCoolFreeStuff quickly. I think they raised TWO sites (RedTopSavings and the GetFreePlasmaTV one or whatever it was) from 6+1 and 8+1 to 10+2 just today. Lock in the offer counts while you still can, they grandfather you in to whatever the req's were when you signed up.

Sweet man. I'd expect exactly 7 days for the offers to go green. That's the way that I-Deal seems to work. I'm not sure how it works for other offers that are completed after that initial 7 days. I guess we will find out soon. Let's keep this moving everyone....

$hit, I'm screwed now. There's no way in he|| that anyone will sign up under me when they have to find 5 refs. WTF is up with jumping from 1 ref to 5?!? It's not like this line was moving faster than the plasma sites!! I don't know if I should wait a month (and give up half my 60 days) in the hopes that they'll change the terms again, lowering the refs required before I find a ref, or fork over some cash and pay for a ref now. But then again, if it's hopeless for me to finish, I may just cut my losses and not finish. Sorry datbeast, I'll have to think on this. I'm still at 7/8 and who knows how many more offers I'd have to do to get that last one (I'm just barely under $50 spent for those offers, so if I don't finish and they send the complementary $50 card and I don't do any more offers, I break even).

I know it sucks for you man, but you're almost there. I'd keep trying to find a referral to complete it for you, even if you do have to pay them. If you spend $100 for something that's worth $1300, it is still worth it man. I understand your position man, and it stinks to be in your shoes, but hopefully you'll be able to figure it out and make the right decision.....

Hey man thats sad to see, 1 to 5 offers is very unreasonable and I understand why you stop and be bummed.

But if your worried about breaking even just finish the site once confirmed I'll pay you $50 so you'll be out no money.

I know of people changing their address at approval time on other sites, but I don't know about iDeal. What I would do is include a note along with the cert, explaining the change. That would seem to stand a batter chance than just changing it without explanation.
