After requesting manual credit for an offer I did about 50 days ago, I was told now that YFDirect has to actually confirm with the affiliate that you completed an offer. This adds several days to a week longer to get manual credit. I wonder if they have been having trouble with people who sign up for offers then immediately cancel them.

wow, no kidding. that sucks, but oh well. it would've been completely easy to fake that you got credit, so they must've been having some trouble.

this is why you should always keep all emails that you recieve from the complany for any offer you complete...

I never remember to do that though because half of them are already in my spam box and i dont have the will to save them.

My inbox has 4300 messages since january 8th... i don't delete things

I wonder if they will start revoking credit for offers then too... that would suck for lots of people...

they better not because it doesnt say anything in the terms of doing the offers that you have to stay for a certain period of time, it says no where that you can't cancel right away.

I also wonder if YF Direct is requesting for their commission from the affiliate if the offer was actually completed.

it is a common fact that the goal of the affiliates it to get new members, they aren't going to give YFD money for stupid noobs that sign up and then cancel right away, if YFD doesn't get the money, they aren't going to credit it... that is a loss to them... Just dont' sign up and cancel right away, sign up for things you have interest in and then cancel after a while if you don't enjoy it... its just common sence...

well i already knew that tjwor but its kind of pointless to stay on a one day free trial to shopping 4 free. so those you kind of have to cancel within 24 hours. But yes I know a lot of people call and cancel before they even receive the pill or w/e it is in the mail and that is stupid.

45 days after you see it go in progress you will go 'Approved' which will be a link on how to get your certs. I had to call them up to get my certs, and they gave me all of them, even though only 4 were approved at that time.

the only bad news is.......i started the vespa then realized i only wanted to do 6 offers, 5 showed up in progress one didnt, so i guess i gotta get manual credit on 1 then ask them to switch to a six offer gift preferably the 1000k card......sounds like i got myself into some trouble!

Out of the six offers I did, I can see myself keeping at least two of them (yourmusic.com and Citi Bank credit service).

As for the IN PROGRESS status, that is a good thing. I just wish it wasn't 45 days before it changes to APPROVED. I mean, I could see two weeks or even a month. But 6 weeks seems like a long time. Guess that a way to weed out the people that are not that serious about finishing the offers/freebie.

They will probably tell you you need to complete an offer under the 1K gift card or complete 8 more offers for the vespa to be eligable, and you will have to wait 45 more days for it to go to approved...

Whats the most offers someone had to get manual credit for? I got all 6 confirmation e-mails but only 2 show in progress. I hope I dont have to apply for 4 manual credits.

More will probably go "in progress" later. I did the Passort to Fun offer about 28-30 days ago and it just went in progress today.

They don't all go in progress the same day.

would there be any problems with using firefox over IE to complete offers?

Wolfeman

I always use IE to complete offers with all cookies enabled and no pop up blocking. Its the only thing I use IE for...
