This site is super easy, took me a little over a week to complete.
http//www.ipodsweepstakes.com
Most of the offers are ones that you just have to give your email address, no payment or anything. The only offer I paid for was freebidding, and that was just one of those free trials anyway. I guess they ship the shuffle within a week of completing and I just completed tonight, so should have proof this week Heres a list of the offers I did

1 offer?

igneous

26-02-2006 20:38:31

There are a ton of offers for 5-10 points, but they dont all seem to credit, so I did freebidding for over 100 points. There a bunch of people on scam.com who already got their shuffles.

J4320

26-02-2006 20:44:18

And you have to get 100 points?

igneous

26-02-2006 21:02:09

no, 800, you start off with 200.

yeah, i've heard of it. is it possible to get 800 points without actually buying something?

dropitlikeitshizzot

27-02-2006 12:08:58

I saw the post on scam dot com last week. I went for it, finished in 2-3 days. And I was shocked to see the package waiting for me this past Saturday. It came FedEx, and must have arrived Friday night, but I didn't notice until Saturday morning.

Anyway, I'm wearing the iPod shuffle right now, so I can vouch for this site and how quick it is.

You start with 200 points, so you have to earn 800; the total you are shooting for is 1,000 points.

You're better off doing the same offers on an offers-for-cash site and getting the cash and buying your own shuffle.

This has really been easier than it sounds for me... all of the "OFC" sites seem to be petty worthless... idk, maybe i'm wrong, if so let me know so I can join )

I'm less than 300 PTS away...

Kinda reviving the thread but before I do this for the shuffle is it really better to just do an OFC site instead?

Godrockdj

08-03-2006 09:31:59

Apparently the offers are not clickable in FF. Bah.

Edit Ok I've started in IE. I clicked the first small offer saying "you only need to enter your email address." It was for a free gas card. The first screen you enter your email, but then it goes to a personal info page. Do you have to fill out this stuff too, or is the email address enough? And I notice that the offer hasn't shown up yet as me having clicked it. Do I have to wait to see if it registers before I enter my email (clickback)?

Even with the simple nature of this site, it seems like a lot just for a 512Mb shuffle. They are worth $70 now. I would rather put a bit more effort into it and get a $100 GC and buy a 1gb shuffle.

It does appear to be quick, though.

You don't need any sort of W-9 because there prizes are all less than $600 dollars in value.

Thanks. Well, i started earning some points tonight. So far it says I earned 134 or something, but I did enough to where I should have earned about 260 by now. And that's from most of the free easy ones... about 48 or so offers. Hmm... This could turn out to be more trouble than it's worth...

Guess I'm gonna have to start in on some of the offers that cost money or are more complicated soon...

I haven't either. I'm missing at least 100 points of credit at this point. If that's how it's gonna be, I probably won't even bother finishing this...cause as it stands now, I need like 650 more points, and I'm out of "x points just for entering your zip code/email address." I'm giving it a few days to let it catch up before I proceed.

kt006

interesting

i might finally do this

EDIT I looked at it again, and totaled the offers that didn't look like OOD, this included some free or $1 CC offers.

anyhow 1800 should be doable

tomorrow ill go through and start doing them ill make a spreadsheet and list and tally points, offer cost, and what information you had to give(ie SSN vs email)

I won't be giving my SSN for a $150 ipod nano so I figure I might give it a go and see if it's doable without doing the credit reports.

the loan requests, are they actual loan requests? like would it affect your credit rating? or is it something where they just give you an instant quote and you're not actually trying to qualify for anything. cause simply applying for a credit card affects credit rating, so i'm just wondering.

I had some problems starting out with the points, but I found that if you frequently clear your cookies while doing the 5 point email 'surveys' you'll get the points credited within a day or so.

Also, some sites require you to click the confirm link in their emails before you get your pod points for the offer. Oh, speaking of emails ipodsweepstakes emails a lot of extra point offers, so check the emails. Yesterday they sent an email with 74 pod points.

I didn't have to use my credit card for anything, all free offers. The hardest thing I did was sign up at bidz.com and place a bid for 125 points. I was thinking about saving another 1,000 points for the iPod Nano, but I'm happy with the completely free Shuffle.

It sounded like back in March the turnaround from redeeming points to receiving the ipod was in the order of 1-2 weeks. I redeemed my points about 2-3 weeks ago and no sign of it, yet. Also, their "1 day email reply" doesn't seem to work. Their website lists the mailing address in Boca Raton and a member support form[=http//www.ipodsweepstakes.com/MemberSupport.aspx]member support form, but no phone #.

What kind of turnaround has everyone else been seeing with these guys (for both emails and offer fulfillment)?

Thanks,

Y

I just got my second iPod Shuffle from this site a few days ago. It took about a week to get here after I submitted my request. As for email responses, it takes them about two days to respond to me.

Almost every offer I complete with VALID information gives me points, even though some may take a couple days to credit Bidz.com credited my account within 2 days after I bid on an item and purchased it.

I love iPod Sweepstakes. It's the easiest site I've ever done. A lot of people bad mouth it because they can't get enough points. If you don't use valid info, you won't get a lot of points. It's that simple.

07-08-2006 11:05:08

I don't know why they don't like me. I have never gotten a response from an email (though I have no trouble getting their daily email) and I have submitted at least 4. I had no problems getting the points and cashing in the points (the webpage has me down as having redeemed my points). I used legitimate info. I'll wait, I guess.

still waiting for the new shuffles to come out before i submit my account, but i'm checking out the satellite radio site now and it doesn't say or show what kind of radio it is. anyone know? i assume it'd only be worth about $70, same as the shuffle, but what can you get for $70 as far as satellite radios go?...

gnznroses

nm, i found it in the terms. some piece o' junk, $50 thing.

I got a Shuffle from this site... then I went to Circuit City (where they ordered it from) and got $72 bucks in store credit... I then purchased a 1 GB SANDisk MP3 Player and walked out with $7 bucks in change in my pocket.

They now have it where you can get 2000 points and get the Ipod Nano ... using the same premise you can actually do this site get the Nano for nothing... take it into the store for credit... and with about $90 bucks... get a 30gb. Now if you're really patient (and have 3 weeks) you can rack up 3000 points... get a nano and a shuffle and your out of pocket for the 30gb is less...

Basically... this site is money... and depending on how much time you devote per day... you can increase your point count exponentially and make all your dreams come true. I have over 73000 points so far... I'm going for a new car.

...o.k., I'm lying. but you get the drift. One thing I will say though... stick to the free stuff because I've done 2 offers back in June and never ever got credit for them. Also... The Email offers are the best way to go to ensure you get credit. I filter mine to it's own folder in my hotmail account because you will get so much spam from doing this site... you'll throw up.... unless you fry it first and use lots of mustard.

i ran out of offers to do. barely got enough points for a shuffle. getting a nano would be impossible without doing offers that cost, and it's not worth it for me. there are several offers for ringtomnes and stuff i can't do cause i don't have a cellphone, but even if i could do those i dunno how i could ever get a nano

01-11-2006 22:21:29

aaargh.... everyone who has an account at this site should email them about the new shuffles. maybe if they get enough emails they'll update their freakin site and at least say yay or nay whether they're shipping them.

my problem is that in the email they keep sending the same stuff and I don't get credited it for it if I do it again >(

I'm about two hundred points away from getting the Shuffle. I was hoping to get the old Shuffle (with a built in USB jack), but it looks like they are only offering the new Shuffle (the smaller silver one with the clip).

Am I the only one that thinks the new Shuffle sucks because it needs a dock?

Dr. Doom

27-11-2006 15:33:02

I just submitted (after hitting 1018 points).

I didn't have such a tough time getting points with this site because I started it way back in March and only checked in periodically (every 1-2 months). Every time I came back, there were new offers to do, so I ended up never having to do a paid offer, CC offer or entering my SS anywhere.

The timeline for receiving the Shuffle after redemption seems to range from 7-21 days (according to this thread). I'll post an update when (or if) I receive mine.

On their site comparison page, they seem to be displaying the new shuffle. Anyone know if thats what they are sending out now?

they send out the new shuffle by itself, no headphones included

I received my Shuffle today. Six days from submission to delivery.

Interestingly, the box came from Circuit City; I guess Ipod Sweepstakes placed an order with them.

I'm still not satisfied with the new Shuffle. I think I'm going to sell it on eBay and then buy a refurbished one from the Apple store.

I have to say, this may be one of the easiest sites I have ever completed.

I did only freebies on this site for about 4-5 weeks and earned enough points for the ipod nano. I was expecting it to be the old style. Got it early this week (2 weeks after cashout) and was thrilled to see it was the new silver 2nd generation. I'm working towards another one now.

Did they order it from Circuit City as well? I'd love to go for a nano if I can return it for store credit at CC.

yes, it came directly from Circuit City.

I did only free offers and avoided those that required a social. Very simple and fast imo. 4-5 weeks of doing a few offers every night. Got my 2nd gen. ipod nano about 2 wks after cashout.

To answer some of the questions. They are sending the new clip style ipod shuffles and the new silver 2nd generation 2gb nanos. Both include usb and earbuds. The site adds new offers every Sunday and it's very possible to complete the site doing only freebie offers.

Dr. Doom

10-12-2006 21:43:07

Wow, you actually managed to get a Nano?

I'm not looking for one (I now have a 60gb Video and the 1gb Shuffle), but I have to congratulate you on getting 2000 points.

I was kind of annoyed going for 1000 and thought it might not be possible to get 2000 doing only free offers.

I just might start again and go for a second Shuffle to give as a gift...

I started this site around August. I did some offers one day in August and then left it alone till now.

I finished about 700 points in three days without paying a cent.

Requested gift on 12/18
Received on 12/22

4 days!

I'm actually very impress with this site.
It took me a few months to complete the site because I would do it and forget about it. But I did complete the site and just received the 2nd Gen iPodShuffle today.

Shipping was very quick after I submitted for approval.
Received the iPodshuffle in about 1 week and it didn't cost me a cent!!

ipodsweepstakes is a great website, I got an ipod nano (the silver 2nd gen one) last week from them. I earned it without using a credit card or paying anything ) It took around a month to get enough points and 8 days for it to come. This is my first post, btw, I'm Christina.

How did you get a Nano from them? They only advertise a Shuffle right?

EDIT

Nevermind, that's sweet.

2000 points for a Nano, 3000 points for a Video. I'll go for either a Nano or a Video.

For the people entering in emails for 5 points, is there a way to do it multiple times? I cannot fathom how some are doing these for up to 2000 points with no credit card. most of them are just small points and they all tend to repeat.

giovannip811

04-03-2007 05:56:14

well i am not to sure if thats a good thing to do. Usually after you finished the offer and you get credit for it, it leaves the page. I have earned 3,000 points w/o a credit card and redeemed it last week on Monday, should receive mine soon.

cLin

05-03-2007 23:25:17

What leaves the page? What offers did you do that didn't need CC or SSN? All I can do are the email ones and most of them are from the same company.

I just did this, took me 3 weeks to finish it for a 1GB Ipod Shuffle. I have the UPS tracking code, it will be here in 2 days on the 5th!!

I have NO Credit Card. I did this with only free offers. Look on the site and dont just go by emails.. they send emails for the same things but the offers are plentiful on the site ) I checked every day for new offers and did them. It seems petty to do 5 point free offers but they add up quick. I use Roboform (free) to fill in my info. I used a fake phone number (just changed 1 digit from my real one) and of course used a spam email account )

Are their ANY other sites like this where you can do these silly free offers without a credit card and earn something? I really want to do them but dont have a credit card (dont want one neither). If you know of any could you please PM them to me?

Way to fraud the websites. If you don't have a credit card, how do you expect to build credit? I suppose paying extremely high interest rates on loans, mortgages, and the like DEFINITELY beats paying low interest rates, especially when it's not difficult to use a credit card responsibly.

Also, if you don't want a credit card, you would say "either", otherwise that's a double negative and you're saying you DO want a credit card.
