Hey i got a ibook from IRC and many people got a 1099 form after getting the ibook. I never got a 1099 so am i lucky or should i be worried.

Comes from IRC to file with the IRS. 31st of next year is the deadline for business to give you they tax info.

You don't actually "file" a 1099 - you enter the information on it on your own tax return. 1099-MISC is an "information" document - the IRS doesn't see it.
along with this, the company that sends you the 1099-MISC does not file a 1099-MISC but instead reports the outgoing cash on their return, along with your name/ssn.
