[quote163a4c662f]Receipt of the free incentive gift requires 1) valid registration information; 2) review of special offers; 3) complete 2 Silver, and Gold Offers, and 4 Platinum offers; 4) and, refer 1 unique household who also completes these offers. See Terms & Conditions for additional details. Trademarks, service marks, logos, and/or domain names (including, without limitation, the individual names of products and companies) are the property of their respective owners, who have no association with and do not make any endorsement of the products or services provided by FreeLuxuryWatch.com.[/quote163a4c662f]

Not a bad deal, $3K Rolex for 8 offers. Offers appear to credit about a week after they're done. The site appears to be operated by ideal direct who has been proven legit in the past. They are VERY strict about walk-thru's and talk about cancellation of offers (Read their T&C for further information), so you'll have to figure it out on your own. I've done all of my offers and there are many offers different than the offers you see at OC/FreePay/Trainn, which is nice.

I got a link from Fitzuf and signed up as his referral. If anyone's interested in signing up, I'd love for you to use my link - PM me and I'll send it to you.

Im thinking about it. Have you found anything in their terms about if you signed up for their other sites, like the plasma site, that you can't do the rolex site? I will sign up if I can.

doylnea

16-02-2006 08:48:46

here's what I've found.
[quote3ede7751cf][b3ede7751cf]Accounts[/b3ede7751cf].
(a) Users are allowed to create a unique account with each referral-based site, as all of these sites are not linked together. Users are not allowed to have multiple accounts within a single referral-based site. All multiple accounts found to be fraudulent or which violate these Terms and Conditions will be placed on hold.

(b) Only one account is allowed per shipping address. We do this to ensure quality leads for our advertisers. Since we are 100% advertiser supported, we cannot afford to support multiple accounts at the same shipping address. If there is more than one user at a shipping address, we suggest that they share an account. All accounts which are found to contain shared shipping addresses will be placed on hold.

(c) A single user may not have multiple accounts at more than one shipping address. For example, a user may not have an account at a street address and a PO Box. [/quote3ede7751cf]

In case people are worried about this being a knock-off site, this site confirms that it is an i-deal site. i-deal is know for fulfilling gifts as long as you hound them a bit.

I REALLY don't get the appeal to these DIY sites that require a referral to complete all the offers as well.

FIRST, you completing 8 or so offers (some being OOD), and waiting those few weeks/months to get the vouchers, and shipping in the vouchers, and waiting longer, and confirming their receipt.

THEN, during or after ALL that, you have to rely on [i53e4c07d17]someone else[/i53e4c07d17] doing everything as well...and more importantly, doing everything correctly!

And in the middle of all that, you have to worry about a few combinations of TOS violations

1) You being accused of a walkthrough with your referral
OR
2) Your referral being accused of a walkthrough with HIS/HER referral thus invalidating your referral.

In any case its a lot of waiting and hoping your referral is just as good as you are in this game. Def, not for me. Definately a lot of profit going to these sites.

Good luck guys.

You hit the nail on the head.

In a few months half of the people on this forum (and the ridiculously long A4F conga) will be out for blood from people that were supposed to have completed offers. Whether or not they completed the offers will be irrelevant. The company has far too many "outs" in their TOS. Hell, one invalidation near the top of the congo may cascade down and invalidate [i8026ba88ef]the entire line[/i8026ba88ef].

Way too risky. Hell, you'd have a better chance of getting something free just straight-up gambling.[/quote8026ba88ef]

I apologize for cross-posting, but this is pretty important.

It seems like i-deal (who despite appearances IS running this site) has been on a rampage, disqulifying people and stating that they will not give manual credit. This been confirmed from multiple sources.

I really think we should stop doing these sites IMMEDIATELY because it appears that we are only lining their pockets without any hope of getting the gifts.

It has been a long time since anyone on any of the freebie sites has reported getting a meaningful gift from these folks, and as long as we keep referring people who sign up for offers, I don't know why they would start fulfilling gifts.

Buyer Beware!

The fine print at the bottom of the sign-up page still says 1 ref, but the T&C now say 2 refs

[quote0454961382]4. Eligibility for Receiving a Free Item for Referral-based websites

(a) For this particular website, users must do the following to be eligible to get approval to receive their free product

i. Complete and get credit for at least 10 offers themselves - two (2) offers on Silver Offers, two (2) offers on Gold Offers, and six (6) offers on Platinum Offers.

ii. Refer at least two (2) unique person (s) who join(s) and also correctly complete(s) the same offer requirements listed above.

(b) After a user signs up with our website and successfully completes an offer, they must get two (2) person(s) to also sign up with our website and successfully complete the same offer requirements to get their free item. In order to connect these referrals to the original user, we issue this user a unique link to our offer site, which they must then distribute to the intended parties. Thus, the user is entirely responsible for all communications regarding our offer sites. At no point during the offer process does FreeLuxuryWatch.com send out any communications on the user's behalf to encourage such signups to occur. [/quote0454961382]

Pretty much standard for all I-Deal sites now, it appears. But still, 2 refs doing 10 offers is still a helluva lot easier to find than a comparable 25 or so refs for standard referral sites and a prize of similar value.

Problem is if I signup for this site, I don't think there's enough offers for me to do another 10, since they use the same offers across all their sites.

If you signed up before the T&C change, you're grandfathered in and need only the 1 ref. The 2 ref requirement is only for new signups (as is the 10 offers -- if you signed up when it was 8, you're still 8 ).

Exactly. I wouldn't mess with it unless you're willing to go for 2 refs... chances are that's what they're going to hold you to even if your account currently says 1. You might get lucky, but it's gonna suck when they tell you "tough luck" after you've done 10 offers and gotten a ref to do 10 offers.

if stroid gets word from customer service that they only need one ref, i'll be willing to sign up under someone

Hopefully that's not true for people that signed up last month. It would still be worth it for 2 refs but I've already used up like 30 days or so

Chipote

If you signed up before the TOS changed, you'll be fine, 1 ref only.

As per our Terms & Conditions, in order to qualify for the free gift, you
must successfully complete two offers from the Silver Offers, two offers
from the Gold Offers, Six from the Platinum Offers and the required number
of referrals.

Please sign up for the group offers and then track the status of your offers
by visiting the link below and confirming your email address. You will be
notified of your approvals on this page, so you must check back
periodically. Please be patient, as it normally takes up to 4-6 weeks for
the sponsors to report back to us that your offers are approved. When you

Yep, though so far no one has reached the 60 limit to see whether they enforce it. I'm getting close on another of their sites - Come on referral, do your thing.

Believe me stroid, I do understand the rules, and your job as a mod, is just my post wasn't getting things out of line at all, and lots of the threads have plenty of irrelevant posts and no one gets nasty about it... is just part of an online community. Anyway, I'll try to keep my posting with "substantial" content, like everyone else.
