Maybe to cut down on people looking for advice or asking what is the best site to do to get a certain item, make a sticky (yes another one) with the sites that have the best requirements for certain items.

For example, the site with the least offers for a Laptop. Site with the fastest turnaround time for a Plasma etc. If people could see in one thread what sites would have quick turnarounds, least offers, cheapest offers with longer turnarounds, I think it would cut down on some unnecessary posting.

I know there are threads with the turnaround times, what company owns which sites, but just give a general idea of what people might be looking for in one place. I for one would love to know the best site to do to get a Laptop; cost of offers, turnaround time, number of offers etc.

Maybe that's just me though. shrug

I think no matter what people never read stickies and we'll have to keep answering questions ( shrug

Agreed, we even tried that thread on asking which is the best for X... people still made their own threads.

For the people that do read (such as me), I wouldn't mind having some of that information included in the FAQ. Maybe really only for Computers and TVs. I keep getting confused when I see the different threads, and they are common questions.

Well if you give them the answer, yeah they'll keep making threads.

On scam.com when they ask the same dumb question I tell them they need to search, and don't give them the answer.

I'll even respond to their "but I searched" lie with "search again" realizing of course it would be easier to give them the answer, but if you stay firm, they'll have to find their own answers and stop being lazy.

Completely agree. Then they come back with "You wasted more time arguing"... but they still don't have the answer )

I suggest start deleting threads (if possible) that get locked after 1 or 2 posts like the one by nobody2000 just did. Waste of space and eyesight.

They eventually move down.. the problem with deleting is they make a new thread asking why it was deleted. With locking, they see it was locked and PM a mod usually..

I know u love that TSJ ;)

Just some generic item listings for TVs, Laptops, etc and nice items like that would cut down on some of the topics for sure. Not all, but must I'd think.

dude just search the list (control F in any browser) -- or ask the question in the friggin sticky thread thats DEDICATED TO THOSE TYPES OF QUESTIONS...

If we made a list it would need to be constantly updated -- no one wants to do that.
If we made a thread to list, no one would wanna read through it and just end up asking the same questions at the end of the thread again.

So we have a thread where you can ask that exact question over and over and no one will friggin flame you.. so just please use it...

I don't know how to make it easier...
