This site functions the same as all of the other YFDirect sites. They list all of their items on the front page of www.GadgetCity.com
They have iPod shuffle for 1 offer, 2gb Nano is 2, cell phones and 4gb nano are 3, Video iPod for 5 along with Flatscreen TV's and Laptops for 6 I believe.
Any questions or information regarding GadgetCity should be posted here.

Does it work like other yf sites where i can do 6 offers on first page for laptop. Also which is the better laptop the hp or toshiba? or should i go for ibook and resell on ebay and by laptop for around 850? I plan on getting a laptop for games/dvd's/college notes and such. i thought u said the 4gb nano was 4 offers....how come when i sign up for it it says "complete 1 offer on the first page and 2 offers on the second page." last time i checked that added up to 3....but i could be wrong lol

Phone is always fast... I Love talking to their CS on the phone because they always seem to know the answer off the top of their head...they will approve and send you the links usually before you hang up the phone...

I have a question, but I don't think it's something too obvious.
I signed up for the iBook at GadgetCity before the # of offers was raised and the offers themselves changed. Now, I can't complete it, because as many of you already know, page 3 is literally 100% CC offers, and I don't need any of those.
I noticed there are two things I can still complete
Game Boy Micro = 1 offer (page 1 only)
2GB iPod nano = 3 offers (page 1 and 2)
Here's the deal I signed up for two offers already (and one of those is In Progress) towards the iBook. Can I apply those to something else? Or did I waste a few minutes and a few bucks? Thanks for your help, guys.

this has been answered in the past, so all you have to do is look.
as long as you have one voucher w/ the correct gift, you can cross out the wrong gift on the other vouchers and write in the new gift you want.
example you have two offers in progress for your iBook. You do one more offer for the nano. then you cross out the wrong gift on the other two vouchers, and replace it with the new gift (cross out iBook and write in nano). As long as at least one of the vourchers has the correct gift on it, you should be all set
OK, thanks. The only sites I've completed in the past were NUI Tech sites, so I was under the impression that you could only get a voucher after completing ALL offers. After a bit of reading, I see that YFD isn't like that...
My only worry is that with all their policy changes and DQ-slapping recently, they might consider doing everything they can to screw me, which would include saying "oh, sorry, that offer only counts towards an iBook." I guess I'll wait until I'm ready to send the vouchers and call customer support about it.
If anyone else tries doing this sooner than I do, please post your results. I don't think I've seen anyone try this and talk about it since all of this happened a few days ago.

Seven weeks after mailing my certs, I still hadn't had my status switched over to "shipped". I emailed them last week to ask wtf was going on, and they emailed back today to tell me they didn't receive my certs. Has anybody else had this hassle pop up? I emailed them my tracking # (which confirms the delivery back in the middle of January), but I was wondering if I should do anything else to get on top of this.

Each offer has a voucher. You have to click the link and fill one out for each one and mail them all in together.
Time limit? Not sure but the quickest you'll go shipped from the time they get your vouchers is 6 weeks. If you are asking if you have to send them in by a certain time, I think its like 2 months but I'm not 100%

ok i printed off the certs (at first i printed off the page, but there was no background, so i just did a screen cap and cut off just the actual images and printed those off).
So i just have to send the three 'congratulations' reward things in..
they don't need the certificate number listed at the bottom (which has some more numbers)

I guess the question is now if you are waiting on manual credit for an offer but instead you chose to do a new offer to replace the one thats on infinite crediting will you have to do offers for the new requirements.
Like say i signed up for the 10 offer arcade. only 9 aapproved an one in probobly never going to get manula credit.

Has anyone had crediting problems with this site? I did 6 offers over a week ago. 2 of them show In Progress and the other 4 only show pending.

Ok, so I Gadgetcity has received all of my forms on 4/28/2006 and my W-9 on 5/22/2006. It has been over the 6 weeks minimum that they suggest contacting them. I sent an e-mail...this is their response back
"Our records indicate that we received your certificate(s) on 4-28-06. At this time we are experiencing difficulty in shipping this product but your gift will ship to you as soon as possible. We apologize for this delay and any inconvenience this may cause."
Has anyone had any similar experiences with them with such a delay?
Granted, it's just a Shuffle, but come on.

I'm having a similar experience with InternetOpinionGroup. I received the same email. You'll get your shuffle. My advice is to wait another 4 weeks and if you don't have it by then, give them a call. July 5 I talked to a CSR after being "Confirmed" for 8 weeks and she told me my gift card would ship around mid-July.

Anyone else get this? I got it but "CreditGift.com" doesn't work... I got an Ibook from GC a long time ago... and it had to have come from YFD because it had my password and stuff...
I just did a WhoIs search and it is owned by YFD so it looks like a new site comming out... which would be cool without teh credit card offers shrug

Guys, I decided to go with GadgetCity since it seems like the easiest DIY 5G iPod site despite the long wait. Plus, it's the last YFD site I can do.
I'm having trouble getting my account set up though.
YES, I have tried www.gadgetcity.com/confirmation.jsp?email=PLACEYOUREMAILHERE
but it redirects me to the homepage. WHen I even try to click on the link to set up my account and type in my email, it says it's not found.
YFD CS told me it can take up the 24 hours for the account info to show up, but I've never had any problems with the other sites.
Any suggestions, or is this something I have to call up YFD on Monday morning?
