you have to buy 4 more books from Literary Guild within 2 years.

How hard is it for people to read the Terms and Conditions on these sites?

Literary Guild does have a commitment -- four books I believe. Personally I try to stay away from those types of offers. And from what I understand freebidding doesn't have any "hidden" fees, but your trial only lasts a day, and after that they will start charging you.

FreeBidding costs something like 4 dollars, I believe, and you have to cancel it within 24 hours.

freebidding never charged me... but yes no hidden fees just stick to re-reading the TOS for each offer and save threads... wink

Freebidding.com you have to cancel within 24 hours. I wasn't aware of that. I thought it was just a one day deal. So I got charged $40 bucks for a months service, and I sent them an email asking them to cancel my account, and if there was a chance I could be reimbursed for the $40 charge. Basically they said you didnt read the TOS, we're not reimbursing you, your account has been cancelled" So make sure you cancel within 24 hours or you'll be charged for a full month.

I looked all over for a support number for freebidding.com. I never could find one. Looks like its only online support.

literary guild isn't a bad deal I don't think. I guess you have to buy the other ones at full price but I sold one of the books (Blood Brother) that I got from them for $17 on ebay. I'm just going to sell them all to break even and maybe even make a few dollars. Its better than getting smacked with some autoship fee if you forget to cancel. And you can always just put it off for all of the two years

the only problem im having with FreeBidding is it is taking a while to green, other than that you basically pay $0-$4 for it. Some dont get charged... some only $1 or $2 and others the $3.95.

When I cancelled my account, I did it through their contact form on their site. It took about 15 minutes to get an email back. It's not hard getting in contact with them, you just cant talk to a rep over the phone.
