So after the whole incident went dow earlier this week, I just let it go. A few days later, I decided I hadn't really been acting like myself, so I sent her an email that basically said I was sorry for acting like a child, and that I would cease my campaign to let everybody I know how I felt I got scammed. I told her I had no ineterest in getting the ipod, but I wanted to make things right as best I could. I was very polite and respectful. I didn't expect to hear anything back, but a little while later I got a response that somewhat renewed my faith in the human race.
She also said she was sorry for what transpired, and because she wanted to try and make it right, she was going to give me a free green if I could get one more to make my account complete.
I've decided to give it a go and am currently waiting for that last ref to go green.
I've missed the cutoff for shiopment this month, but hopefully I'll make it for next.
Anyways, just wanted to give everyone an update. Hopefully after Pookie gets some orders out next week, I and anybody else that had doubts will be re-assured.

Yep. Talked to someone for 6 minutes. Don't remember the exact amount I deposited, but it was about $4. I'd have to check my c.c. online transactions to see what it was.

Decided not to wait anymore. I sent email regarding the Keen.com offer I did, but just so xs10shul doesn't have to wait any longer, I'm going to do the Star Rewards offer.
Hopefully, I'll get credit for this offer much quicker. So far, I'm not impressed, but I made a promise to complete an offer.
Can your referrals complete the same offer you did? If that's the case and Star Rewards gives quick credit, I'll refer people to sign up under me. Otherwise, i don't want to waste time and completing offers. I just want to get my daughter an iPod Mini.

Yeah it doesn't matter what offer your referrals do. Starclub seems to be quick in crediting. I don't know why Keen isn't going through.

I know you are busy running the site and all, but if there's anything you can do to ensure this offer will go through, it would help restore my faith in this site.
Once I get credit, I'll start on this site next. And keep StarClub Rewards as long as you can. It's a good offer to do. It's an offer I'll legitimately look at keeping.

Regarding Keen, on the 4freespot section of the gears4free forums, it recently got brought up that you additionally must hang up when the operator prompts you to and not on your own (I'd imagine it'd be the same for getting credit on get4friends). There is, however, a possible interesting workaround one of the people (citrus) posted in case you messed up or otherwise didn't get credit, though note that I have not tried this

Personally I don't think contacting the guy is a good idea as it kinda defeats the point of using Keen as a free trial, and if they catch on they might pull the offer. Still though, nice info.

Thanks for the info on Keen.com. It was an interesting offer to do. I followed the directions best I could, but I think it's a pretty weird offer, if you ask me.
On a much happier note, my offer for StarClubRewards took less than a day to credit.... YEAH!!
And keeping with my promise, this will be the next site I work on. I will heavily suggest people do the StarClubRewards offer.... it's too easy and for some, it may be an offer they may want to keep. Especially if keeping it for 2 months at $10 a month gets you a $50 gift card.
And if pookie has anything to do with it, thanks to her.

My very last referral is still waiting for freaking eFax, which he completed on the 10th. eFax, according to Get4Friends, is having "tracking problems," which is nice to know, but fairly unhelpful. If eFax is having problems crediting (which it seems to often), why use it as an offer, unless...
What I would like to know, and this is a criticism that applies across the board, is whether these companies receive [ia9599166a2]their[/ia9599166a2] credit even when we do not. I'm concerned about the lack of transparency involved. How can I know, for example, whether Get4Friends did or did not receive their money? There's no way of overseeing the process as a consumer, and I think that most customer concerns could be resolved if we had more information.
I mean, yes, as she/he suggested in the email to us, another offer can always be done in eFax's stead, but so what? That's like a mechanic saying they couldn't/wouldn't fix a problem but you can always pay them to try again. From the customer's POV, there's no difference.

Fact is, I do have capital, I just don't want another Search Cactus scenario happening with my site. I'm taking the necessary steps to ensure it doesn't happen. It's not much yet but consider that almost half of that, I lost, because I sent out the first 3 gifts without receiving payment (and still no payment) from SC. My, erm, "shit" is quite in order. All I'm waiting for is payment from my publishers. There are currently no problems whatsoever. Are you complaining because I said I'd ship regularly and I'm not? I'll apologize for that.
I've started to ship regularly though, 2 weeks ago. I will ship in another 2 weeks then a week after that, and that'll be the schedule from now on, providing there are no more fiascos with our publisher. Shipping twice a month.
