The only problem I've ever had with it is the fact that you have to exit out of it before you can restart through the windows interface.

some init error? could you be more specific?
chances are its not "bad coding" but instead, you failed to ensure you had all dependencies installed. At the top of the page, it says that it requires .NETurl==http://=http:///url Framework version 1.1 to function. I even provided a direct link to it.
Just because something doesn't work immediately for you, doesn't automatically allow you to assume it was bad coding.
As for the Shutdown problem, I believe in this latest version, you should be able to properly shut down the computer without exiting ICFreePod.. if someone would like to test it and let me know, that would be very appreciated.

it was my bad not noticing the .NETurl==http://=http:///url requirement, I thought I already had .NETurl==http://=http:///url installed anyway. Having said that, the program hangs now instead of not running, on the first screen where u input ur log/passes.

Sometimes the services are slow.. I'm not sure if its hanging, or just waiting for a response.
Also make sure that any firewalls aren't blocking the traffic. If the program can't access the WebServices, it will wait a LONG time to try to get the information before finally giving up.

If he steals account info, he hasn't stolen mine! Or at least, I can't tell if he has. He says that if you run a sniffer you'll see that it only sends your data to Gratis.

Not if you use a firewall, or a sniffer. He would have to write the program differently. The way it is written, the only data transfer is from the user's computer to the Gratis webservice.

I loaded on top of the .6 version. Works great for me!
I love this app. It is a great way of monitoring the status, plus quick access to your referral links. I just wish all of the sites would support the interface so I can check them all from this one panel.

I seem to remember a bug where people would sometimes get information from someone else's account -- but that was on Gratis's end, not the program's.

i installed the new one over the old one and all my old sites work but psp and digitalcameras dont work....i get a error saying The remote server returned an error (500) Internal Server Erro. Please try again later.

Is anyone else having trouble getting updates with the new version? It has been working up until yesterday, but for some reason is not alerting to new signups/completions.
Referral list within program is about 2 days old.

I don't know enough about the interface to the Gratis info, but I imagine that it may currently be down. I have another machine with an older version of ICFreepod, and it is also not able to get updates on my current programs.
I get the following when I try to update my program settings (500) Internal Server Error. Please try again later.
I suspect that there has been a (Gratis) system change that ICFreepod is not currently configured to work around (or with).
Just my 2 cents....

I stopped getting updates sometime in the last week or so. The 500 error used to go away a few minutes after the first try but now it stays. I hate having to go online and check all my sites manually, though I found a trick with Firefox.
If you open each site in a new tab, then save bookmark and tell it to save all tabs in a folder, you can then use that folder as your homepage and it will open them all in tabs when you start the browser.

I still haven't heard anything else from Drakier. I was hoping that it was just a DNS issue (like with FreeDigitalCameras), but since it's still not working, I assume that is not the case.
This really sux having to check each site individually. Especially since I am submitting/processing on many of them now. lol

I've already posted that it is a webservice issue. Until Gratis gets the WebService fixed, it will not work. Nothing I can do about it. When the WebService is fixed, then more than likely, ICFreePod will just work with no update required.
Sorry it doesn't work now, but as I said, not much I can do about it right now. The problem isn't in my program as far as I know considering it was working until one day, then just lipoofli.

No problem. Certainly not blaming you for the WebService issue. I figured you probably had the most info from Gratis since you have worked with them to bring us this VERY VALUABLE tool.
I certainly got spoiled with IC Freepod and can't stand not knowing exactly what is going on within my accounts. lol
