i called complete home to cancel my account and got the typical spiel about them extending my free trial period for free and sending me extra stuff. so i said yeah, why not. i noticed a membership charge on my credit card (webcert) about a week and a half later. i called a few days later on a saturday and the woman said that the trial HAD been extended but may have missed some billing cut-off point or something other bs but the billing department was only open on business days and to call back. i just called them and the rep told me my free trial hadn't been extended at all. i cancelled for real this time and should get a refund on the charge tho. anyway, just make absolutely sure the reps do extend your service if they say they will. it was annoying to have to deal w/ this.

They are dumb fucks. I got some bastard who couldn't even speak hardly any english, he couldn't even find my damn account so I couldn't cancel. He told me to wait tell I get the mailing from them, whatever is all I have to say.

yea just cancel lol, the same thing happened to me with Video Professor, except he kept saying "we'll give you free cds and blah if you don't cancel" it took about 3 rounds of "we'll give you blah" and "i still want to cancel" until he gave up and let me cancel.
