Honestly I care about this more than I do about Michael Jackson, lol. I'm gonna miss the dude...while he was overly obnoxious on his commercials...he was a great individual.

He will be missed.

Yeah Michael Jackson wasn't really your time and neither was it mine. I think it was much more for the older folks.

shock Were you in a coma for most of your childhood?

They are both up there for me. Michael Jackson is probably worse though considering he was planning a come back tour as well. (

edit - never mind. I accidentally mistook zack for YGF.

No I am 22 and never really got into that kinda music. I was raised in a Christian household and when I was younger, I was never really allowed to listen to secular music.

So yeah. I could be wrong but I feel like people a little older than me would be more affected.

EDIT From the looks of those sentences...yes I was...haha.

I second this. I just recently turned 25, so I'm not much older than you and I can remember all of his hits from when I was a kid. I remember going through a little bit of a phase when I was younger, owning a several of his tapes... who didn't?! I'm actually JUST NOW remembering being in elementary school and swapping MJ tapes with another kid named Richie Magnolia. Good times, man. (

I'm 22 and I can't say I remember much about him growing up other than the crotch grab and child molestation stuff. I've never been a big music person though.

He was kind of a d-bag, but man was he a great promoter.

had jacko died 20 years from now, it would have been different. but because he was only 50 and it was so sudden, it dominated everything.

usatoday (and usatoday.com) had a cover story on the concerts, sounded cool. it would be awesome if some rehearsal footage made it's way into the media at some point.

it's weird that on saturday morning I watched a show on billy mays and the "set it and forget it" guy and why they are so successful at sales, it was a pretty good show with interviews of them, i might try to get the whole thing if I see it on...

no, it wasn't that one, although i've been wanting to see it, it was more of a biography on just those 2 guys, but there weren't other people trying to sell their ideas to them or anything... hell, it coulda been that show, but I don't think so...
