I just built www.dimeadozenads.com[]www.dimeadozenads.com

^I know it's been done before but I already had the hosting so I figured what the hell I have nothing to lose.

So I figured I would give away 15 free spots to help fill in the grid. PM me with the link and image you want to be placed on the grid. Your ad must be 50x50 or smaller. If all of the spots are filled but a Admin/Mod wants one pm me anyway and I will put your ad up.

If your feeling nice, please tell your friends/family about the site. I am advertising it locally all over Las Vegas starting today.

liI reserve the right to take down your ad if it becomes necessary to accommodate a paying customer.

Nice. I'd give you a link if I had one haha. Tell my friends and family you say? I could maybe link a friend or two but it'd be kind of weird to be pimping this to my family. lol

Wow, i knew going into this that the idea isnt a new one and i didnt expect a lot of orders, or any in the first week, but its kinda of strange that its getting so many views (5k today alone) and not even an email yet. The ad's sure are getting a lot of clicks though.

Has any one had any luck advertising with myspace or facebook? I was thinking about investing $50-100 in promotion.

I had decent success with facebook advertising, but it was for a site that was focused on 1 university. The nice thing with facebook ads is you can pick a very small target audience to reach. With a site like this, it might be too wide of a range, and you may burn through $50 or 100 very quick, although they may be good hits...
