Well, it's that time of year again. The turkey is cooking, the snow is falling, and there's a mad dash to Best Buy to pick up the 5% discounted door busters that everyone seems to think is a miracle deal. Who is going out where and for what? I'm sure we all know SlickDeals[=http//forums.slickdeals.net/forumdisplay.php?f=41]SlickDeals has the huge BF section, and if not now you do! Anyone care to share if they are going to campout and what they are getting? Eh, while we're at it, anyone have any suggestions out of these TV's?

I was looking for someone to post a directory, thanks!

I'll probably go out, I never actually buy anything, I just like the atmosphere, plus it's fun being ready to drink at 8 am hahaha.

Meh to those TVs. I got a better deal from Phillips Outlet with a coupon on SD and got a 47 inch LCD for 750.

I am working both Thursday and Friday -- do not ever work in a hospital -- it never closes.

I did last year. Fucking cold @ 6am in Best Buy's line. Unfortunately, not so much free cash this year, although I'd like an HDTV, another HDD, and 5.1 PC speakers. I'm like Travman, I think I'll go later on just to be among the craziness. Maybe I'll find some nice deal shrug

I will camp out, even if there is nothing i want.

I just like the thrills. And I'm not even kidding.

I want an HDTV, but if nothing good pops up, I'll probably just buy a few dvds or blu-ray movies. Maybe Guitar Hero.

Funny thing is I am the same way. I have camped for 360's, ps3's, in front of Best Buy for BF almost every year. and often times. its just for the entertainment of doing it. which you cannot deny. it is a fun time.

the year i was waiting for the 360, I was camping in front of wal-mart. I bought a sleeping bag and a lawn chair the night before... then after i was done camping out. i took those things back ) got the 360 though. lol

Online deals are best on "Black Monday" for online shopping

And advice for a wii, don't bother on BF, amazon has them in and out of stock constantly at retail price, just watch that site

I drove by the local Best Buy just to check. Tents set up and the line is to the corner of the building already at 930PM. Fucking hardcore. I'm going whenever I wake up to see what I find. I heard Sam's Club is giving out free breakfast.

I'm going at 4am to Target, mostly just to go, then hitting up a couple other places. I'm hoping to get an HDTV at a local furniture store, that's probably my best shot at getting one at the great deal.

Woke up at 7, got free breakfast from Sam's, headed to Walmart, bought a DVD. Went to Best Buy bought more DVDs on sale and some microSD cards and 8GB thumbdrive. Very conservative compared to last year.

I got a 26 inch Westinghouse HDTV for $299 for my dorm at target. I came an hour early, and I had to fight back people trying to cut me. Good thing I am a big guy haha. I literally had to dart for the TV. Some guy tried holding 10 of them for friends.

I went to the Ralph Lauren Factory Store at midnight and got some good deals; their dress shirts were $30 (normally $85) and Polos were $30 as well (normally $85). At Macy's I would have spent close to $500 and I spent about $150. I also got a paper shredder at Wal-Mart for $20.

Wow, I bet you cleaned out there. I would have loved to have gone but the closest one was an hour and a half. Those are awesome prices.

Went to Target, got 2 of the Rock Band World Tours for Wii, and a couple other little things there. Then went to RC Willey which is a local furniture store, and I got the same 46 inch hdtv that Sears had as their doorbuster and at the same price, put that on layaway. Also got 2 $25 gift cards there free as well as Wall-E dvd and a dvd player together for $20. Pretty good year, nothing crazy or sucky happened, and the weather was good.

I camped out at office depot with my dad and brother. We were first on line. We got the $350 laptops.
My friends camped out at bestbuy, they got the $379 toshiba laptop for us and the $299 desktop also, along with the $350 laptop and some other things for themselves.
They were around 20th on line.

We went back and forth between the two stores and finally settled down around 3.

How is Westinghouse for a brand? I ended up going to BestBuy and getting the 60" DLP from Best Buy for $999.99 and a PS3. Got a credit limit increase and now I'm looking to get the Panasonic 1000W[=http//www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8724339&st=Home+Theater_Cyber2Day_20081130&lp=4&type=product&cp=1&id=1200703057742]Panasonic 1000W surround sound to go with it.

BestBuy is having some good deals on blu-ray today and tomorrow if anyone cares.

Westinghouse is good. They're more economical than Sony without much downside.

You're going to love having such an enormous tv. We have the 63" in the living room and it's amazing.

Powerbook

Westinghouse is great, but their their design usually looks horrible. They save on the design factor. However, the TV I got looks almost like a Samsung. It's probably one of the nicest designs for a Westinhouse TV. We didn't have much to spend, so we got this for my dorm at school. The 26 inch should be more than enough for what I need at school. I can play the 360, hook it up as a computer monitor and all that jazz. We have a nice 40 inch samsung lcd at home. I want a 60 inch though haha.
