Time Travel

Since we've been getting really deep in the ol' Off Topic as of late, I just want to offer this up for discussion. I don't know if this is a credible source or anything, but it seems legit, especially if it's really in Geneva. Those clowns are nuts. Check it out and discuss.

I believe that anything and everything is possible, we just haven't figured out how to make the currently impossible, possible yet.

Having a "year zero" for time travel is really a new and interesting way to look at time travel. I've never thought of it like that. I've heard time travel is theoretically possible so who knows. I think time travel would end up fucking more shit up then fixing anything though.

Being able to "go back in time" and relive certain periods of your life, or just watch them, much like the Ghost of Christmas Past. You can go back in time and watch yourself being a twat when you had a beard in high school or when you first got laid.

Time travel would be the most exciting thing to happen to the human family since the invention of language. Believe me I was there and it was quite a day.
I'm sure time travel could be abused though... if it did exist what would become of it? Would government scientists secretly use it for their own agenda? Would the general public be able to avail themselves of its use?

If it ever does become possible, you won't be able to change or manipulate the past. Basically everything will happen just in a slightly different manner but still create the same results you've already experienced.

Yeah, it was all bum-fluff and longer than any beard I've tried to grow since. As you can imagine I was made fun of greatly for it.

it would be nice to go back to a couple of days in high school.

and as thankful as i am to have the job i have now, i'd like to go back to 96 when i quit the job i had in college or go back to 2002 when i was semi-offered a new position, didn't take it and eventually got laid off later that year.

...and i need to find that 'inventions'-thread.
