1. How many trades did not credit because trade partner was banned?
2. How many trades were just not finished by trade partner?
3. How many $$ have you lost to scammers?
4. Which sites are the most targeted by scammers?

I think the most sites targeted by scammers are the brand new fresh sites that come out.

Trainn has always been targeted.

The most prevalent scam I've seen in the last year (and it's probably the same guy, to be honest), is the overeager newbie willing to do your site for cash. He frauds all the offers, goes red accordingly, but by the time you realize you were scammed he's off and doing it under a new name.

Several of you have reported suspicious users, so we've been able to cut down on this particular scam some--but I know he's still lurking around, so BE VIGILANT.

Maybe you guys can start an online neighborhood watch program...

Hey, Naman1221 will pay you Twelve Thousand dollars if you green on his site. You have to green up front though. And that is not up for discussion. roll

If you are interested, he'll contact you via AIM lol

Oneil tried scamming me, except I just contacted ygf and took my green away from his site and waived my offer requirements. )

Heh, I never needed to trade for refs really. I found clever ways to get them online.

The two times that I've been scammed both happen on A4F...

One guy stayed green for almost a whole month before going red...

I'm guessing he went to go cash out and they found that something was up. lishrugli

Well, I am new to this forum---but not new to this industry. I have been scammed for about $153! It was not on TRAINN sites. In my case it seems that the git-r-free sites got hit the hardest! What stinks is I don't even know they have gone red till I go to cash out! I think all refs should be checked immediately, thoroughly. Maybe that would cut down on the scamming...

DLF was probably the most serious.

So what recourse do we have? Paypal closes the claim, saying they don't have money in their account. OR too much time has passed to file a claim and you never hear from the trader again! I've learned alot on how to check the trader out, but there are still some that slip through the cracks!

I have lost over $100 to scammers through TRAINN sites. But NEVER again!! Developed new strategies for trading/paying refs on Trainn sites and haven't encountered anymore probs since then. It is getting somewhat risky too with g4g trades! wonder why...
