scared? what?

Okay, Twon, I'm going to share with you a little bit of advice that my boss gave me, and it's honestly kind of changed the way I view things and deal with certain situations, and if I were you, this would be one of them.

When you're in a situation where you're scared or intimidated or whatever, just think to yourself "You know, one day I am going to be dead. None of this is going to matter. It's not going to matter if I win the fight, lose the fight, or don't go to the fight because some day I am going to be in the ground."

I know it's a little dark, but when you put it in terms like that, it makes doing things a hell of a lot easier when you put in the scope of the grand scheme of things.

Get in the tournament. D00d.

Personally, I'd go for it. The only way you get better at anything is by practicing and losing to people that are better than you. I used to play basketball and there was an older kid down the street I always played against. He kicked my ass all the time for a while, but the more I played him, the better I got. Who knows, you may surprise yourself and do well. I'd rather regret an action than an inaction.

^ that's what i'm saying

plus, dude. you got INVITED. That means they saw something in you. I'm not seeing a negative here.

I don't disagree. I just don't know if I feel like putting in the effort to train.
