This makes me want to support the death penalty, no matter its costs. Shit, I wish I didn't read the article. Now, I am here thinking about law school and hoping I can someday enforce justice.

I'm all for the death penalty, I've written many papers on capital punishment.

Death penalty is just for this guy! What a bastard!

Twon

The guy has been in jail twice for attempted murder. Shows that incarceration really is a great rehabilitation tool. rolleyes

But then again, I guess some people are so fucked up, nothing can help with their morals.

OMG! That was the CRUELEST thing called rape, I have ever read/heard in my entire life!!! Wonder what punishment man can give him for such a diabolic act!

I'm not against the death penalty, but I'd rather see this guy starve to death in a 3x3' padded room. Or how about stoning to death? Sorry, a nice syringe of death is too dignified for these types of people.

yeah let him take it in the you know what in prison....

mistertomlinson

28-06-2008 05:37:10

I honestly believe a lifetime in prison would serve him better. You give him the rest of his life in an environment he has absolutely no control over with people who could care less about him with absolutely no freedom for the REST of his miserable life. I'm sure there will be plenty of people there that wont like him much and make his time there even harder. If I were in his shoes, I would hope for death... the last thing I would want is the rest of my life in prison. Death would be a favor, in my opinion. Drag it out. Let him suffer.

No, I didn't see it.... I meant to say the worst that I have ever read about.

I agree. He deserves life in prison. Death by lethal injection would be the easy way out for him.

That article didn't really mention how well or not the girl recovered. I just don't understand how a person can do something like that to another person. Why should this guy have the privilege to get the death penalty, he deserves worse.

I wonder what kind of punishment the victim in this crime thinks he deserves... I wonder if he has any sense of wrong doing... I think some people just weren't meant to be born...

I just wanted to hear what she thought about it. I think he should die. Going the prison, you have a 50/50 chance of becoming someone's bitch or making someone your bitch. I rather not take it to chance.

I think he should be put on death row, cut off from all life except for the guards. 23.5 hours lockdown, .5 hours for a shower. He could be on death row for years before they kill him.

Powerbook

30-06-2008 11:44:28

The way death row is setup is idiotic. It costs a lot of money, the whole process. It's hard to say about this case. If the prisoners find out what he did his life will be a nightmare everyday 24/7 for the rest of his life. If not, it is better if he is put on death row. It's really hard to say.

Ive been saying this for years. If you murder, rape, torture, or some sort of messed up crap, i believe your get that done right back at you. That guys perfect punishment is to have everything he did to her to happen to him. Yah yah yah blah blah thats cruel and unusual punishment i don't care what hippies say, i guarantee if that happen to one of them they'd say the same thing. Obviously this guy had no respect for human life and did all of this so he could get laid and feel powerful. I guarantee he would regret doing that if some hard pipe hittin niggas go to work on him with a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.

What I'm more interested in is the lawyer who decided to defend this guy.

Honestly... what motivation could he possibly have? He didn't even bother to make an opening statement.

Well it could have been a public defender hired by the county/state if he could not find a lawyer.
