How to Donate

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if someone could tell me the benefits of making a donation and what would be the benefit to me if I made a donation.

Heh, good idea, but that doesn't work any longer. You can contact a mod or admin if you'd like to donate for a particular purpose.

Yeah, the Amazon donation system doesn't really work anymore. It will still take your money but and wind up in Admin's account (hopefully), but we have no way of tying it back to the forum anymore. In the future, with the forum changes I'm working on, donations will be a lot easier and more straightforward, but we just have some kinks to work out first.

As doylnea said, contact any admin and they can get you a PayPal address to send a donation. Currently the only real benefit we offer is a custom title or a username change (depending on the amount of donation), and the warm & fuzzy feeling that you're helping to keep the forum running and compensate the staff in some small way. With the future donation system, there are a lot more perks planned.

Hard to say. It's a part of a much larger forum migration I've been working on here and there. Wouldn't make sense to try to integrate the new donation system into this forum, because we're limited as to what we can do. Upon moving to the new forum, we'll have a lot more flexibility. It's work that I have to fit in between real money making opportunities (like work, contracting, and poker), family time, etc. so I can't really give a reliable estimate. It's moving along, albeit slowly.

I'll tell you what, I'll donate right now for a custom title but on one condition, Doylnea has to make up my title.
