According to your time line you still are relatively new, no offense or anything. Don't take everything so seriously. I just honestly let you know why people were turned off.

No doubt this will be late, as I'm sure you'll get a lot of one-liner posts before I get a chance to finish typing this, but what the hell.
Not to be a smartass, but in all seriousness, allow me to address your points.
The aggressive, in-your-face approach (whether PPD or otherwise) is not welcome here. It's not how FiPG has ever operated. You simply post a trading thread offering the sites you're interested in trading for. People have been doing quite well here for years, long before PPD and on the order of tens of thousands of dollars, without resorting to those tactics which just annoy everyone. Part of the reason PPD is looked down upon here is because they come across as if they invented the whole concept, and PPD "alumni" show up here as if they can teach us a thing or two. I would venture the truth is really the other way around -- your average PPD members have no real clue how things in this industry work, while most of your veterans here (and not only here, but at other related forums that have been around awhile), have a much deeper understanding of the whole process. In fact, a large part of our community is comprised of actual freebie site owners and representatives. Some of the staff here actually run their own freebie businesses. The owner of FiPG is the owner/operator of FusionCash and is a very large publisher of offers to other sites -- few people in this business have his experience and insight.
Now, regarding your comment about your post formatting and people with poor eyesite nice of you to think of them but it isn't necessary. Font size (and even style) is controlled by the browser. People with accessbility issues, who need big fonts or whatever, adjust those things on [i96f5882fa6]their[/i96f5882fa6] end so that they see things as they require. That way not everyone is subjected to it. Forcing everyone to read large or overly-ornate text is annoying and headache-inducing. Somewhat akin to posting in all caps, your posts come across as "loud." So just post in a normal fashion with reasonable formatting where necessary, and let folks who can't see well or whatever adjust their browser to their needs.

As Dmorris said and other have said we have been doing this for a long time without PPD... alot of members here have been around since it was a shout box and less then 1000 members now this place is huge but the idea is still the same. In my opinion this PPD shit is annoying and driving the freebie site trading potential right down the drain. Freebie sites are about freebies not making money of the next sucker that joins the forum. You come off as a spammer to me when you make a post like the one you did. If you just wanted to welcome them you should have just said.......

There's more to getting along well in an established community than simply following the letter of the rules. Perhaps you're the anti-establishment sort, and that's certainly your prerogative and you wouldn't be the first here, but you can't expect the rest of the community to accept your "style" when it goes against that of the majority. Every community, whether online/virtual or real-life, has an unwritten code of welcome vs. unwelcome behavior.
Bottom line is, PPD has been a major sore spot here in at FiPG and across the industry as a whole -- just how much of one depends on who you ask. But having been around the industry for as long as many of us have, we're not too keen on the PPD style of doing things. That seems to fit better over at FLR and other such places, so if you really want to go that way then perhaps you should be hanging out there more than here. Not that you aren't welcome here, but you really should adapt your approach to better "fit in" to where you're at, unless you want to be on the receiving end of a discussion like this. ;)

He was pretty polite to you in giving you a warning after you broke the rules, but all you could do was act indignant and tell him how he was giving you crap. He was even polite after that, but you still kept it up. I found that very annoying.
And as for the PPD newbies who learned about freebies sites in the past few months and come here telling people they'll teach them, dmorris couldn't said it better about how I feel about them.

It's common for the staff to sanction trade bumping violations by extending your timeout to 48 hours or even longer. In fact all rules are subject to exception by the staff at any time. This isn't a democracy -- we're a fascist dictatorship of the most brutal sort.
