I need to find a site that describes the target market of a website like craigslist. I've tried to find for ebay and craigslist and cannot find one. I need this for a paper that is due. If you know of any other sites to search for or can find one please help me out!! +Karma and Thanks for any help!

Can you clarify your question? I'm not sure what you mean by "a site that describes the target market."
Are you looking for a description, or for a site that targets the same markets as ebay or craigslist?

The only thing I would add to that is Craigslist targets people who want to make face to face sales (whether it's to avoid paypal fees, to allow them to look at the product first, or to save on shipping).

economically speaking, ebay's target market is sellers because that's where they get their revenue
but the site is setup to attract buyers as well, in order to entice sellers...
and lumping ebay with craigslist is not particularly sensible since they really don't have much overlap at all (remember that CL is a community site and contains much more than just the for-sale boards)

If I'm not mistaken, you are looking for a site that can tell you somthing like, "ebays target market is stay at home moms between the ages of 25-35 whose averge income is between 20,000-30,000"
Right?
None of this is true by the way. I was just trying to clarify the question.
