Hey,

Through my daily life my glasses have turned to shit. I usually get expensive ones for the durability on the strain i put on them. You wouldn't imagine the crap they go through. From being dropped, stepped on, punched, dropped off my roof. Ya a lot of stuff. Well I have only worn three pairs of glasses in my life, im so tied to them that i have a suntan line where i wear them because i am just that emotionally attached, ha! Anyways, I really like Kenneth Cole's styles but I want some big framed glasses. By big framed I mean, thick, sturdy, but still look cool. Think buddy holly but not so exotic. I know this is a stupid question, its just that my optometrist is an idiot and doesnt know what i want and since i dont have time to go there until next week I want him to have some glasses set out already for me to try. Can you guys help me find some stylish yet usable glasses for me to transition into? I keep all my old glasses just because I love them.

The End.

Thanks for the help. Oh and

Luckily this style is totally in fashion now, you'll likely see lots of cool frames.

If possible check out o.g.i. frames. They're pretty durable and really snazzy. My last two pairs have been from them. They have some chunkier plastic frames.

I would love huge chunky dork glasses (I'm a nerd and proud of it) but I have a narrow face and look retarded in them.

These are my glasses

I still use my glasses that are around 8 years old -- only before bed though. They were about $300. The money was worth it. My parents went all out with anti-scratch, flex-frames, etc. I've dropped, stepped on, and abused these glasses, and they're still in one piece. One of the nosepads came off, but that's because I was moving it back and forth too much.

They're made by byblos. They look pretty stylish even 8 years later, and with my enormous prescription wink

These exact ones in grey

Those are cool glasses. I would love to get some like that (in red), but I have such a narrow face. I usually get kid glasses. I wear contacts most of the time, but I would like a pair that are ok to wear in public.

Yeah, I have to get kid's sunglasses because my eyes are set really close together (no brains in between). Keep an eye out for o.g.i. frames, they make some really small sizes in cool styles. The ones I have are a sortof matte dark reddish brown (not that blue from the picture). I really like them.
