I haven't really found a good updated list. So, which sites ARE scams? Thanks in advance.

I'd like to know this as well. The only one I consider a scam right now is Video Professor, since a friend of mine ended up with an $80 bill in his lap because of them.
Any others?

xs10shul, that's an offer. If you read the terms and conditions it says you've got to send the discs back. If you keep them, use a webcertificate so they can't charge you. I know that FREEBIEGIFTS had too many problems with their publisher and should be going down. I also known that freetech4you has had the same problems. AND, the free4unetwork seems to be a scam as well.

Having negotiated contracts, myself, I understand. Still, it is a nasty price to pay for inattentiveness. Breaches can either be written harshly or gently, and this one seemed rather harsh. )

You could type all day, listing the sites that are scams. There's even some in the grey area, with some people reporting success, and some saying it's a scam. Personally, as a rule of thumb, I stick with Gratis and OfferCentric. If neither of them offer a gift that you want, find an OfferCentric site to do for cash, and buy the product.

Also, there are varying degrees of "scams." Some sites never sent out a thing, some sites sent out one or two batches of orders, then nothing after that. It's hard to put together a comprehensive list, and that is why no one has done it.
There could however be a consumer review site that expresses a site's popularity based on a percent of good and bad votes.

Yes, there could. ) It would be tough though, like anything else, to weed out the heavily biased/false reviews. The whiners over at imonhold.com claim that Gratis is a scam, but that doesn't mean it is. You see where I'm coming from?

just go for the mainstream ones and you'll be fine (gratis, oc) and, like collidgegraduit said, just get the $$$ and buy stuff if you don't want the gifts.
