Well, the only experience that I have with V-Bux is I've greened on one of their sites. It was the best and fastest crediting site that I've done. I know some people love them, probably for that reason.
My two cents,

Not at all. I haven't done a V-bux site so I have no personal experience with them, but all I know is that the newbies just seem to love them whereas the people who have been around for longer really don't have much to do with them at all (based on A4F and FLR at least - well, at FLR you can't add the "people who have been around for longer" because if you've been around for longer, then you were around before FLR existed). Over at A4F, they won the "Favorite Grade B Site" by a pretty good margin (39 votes, 2nd place was 25). At FLR (aka newbie central) almost everyone there is signed up for one of their sites (or as they refer to it - has a V-bux site in their portfolio).
So no, I wasn't kidding at all. Go to FLR and go in the V-bux sub-forum (if you don't want to go there) if you don't believe me.
Edit - Just look at the join dates of the people who are saying good things about them in this thread.

Hello everyone,
This thread was recently brought to my attention by diny42, a V-Bux user.
I want to begin by stating that the person who created this thread has no affiliation with V-Bux. The impersonation of V-Bux staff is something that will not be tolerated, and we are working with FiPG to identify who this individual is.
Compared to our presence on other industry forums, we have not been very active on FipG…but this is to change very soon!
For those that do not know about our network, we were launched in December of 2006, and since that time have enjoyed unprecedented growth. We were recently voted the “Grade B Network of the Year” on anything4free.com, and came in second place for the “Best Freebie Network of 2007.. We’ve shipped over $500,000.00 worth of prizes to our members in our first year of operations, been featured in several campus newspapers, and have ran four radio campaigns in the Boston, Massachusetts area.

P.S. Although I always stray away from bringing personal matters to the forums, I believe that the comment by “tryintogetpaid” warrants attention. When “tryingtogetpaid” worked for the ZeroPriceTags network, he had made several abrasive comments in our “V-Bux ships $100,000 to our members” thread on Anything4Free. He challenged our prize tally, telling users that it was “unlikely” and we were “lying” about it. Within hours, we then proceeded to verify our tally as legitimate by providing evidence from our Paypal monthly statements, and noted his “slander” of our network. Fittingly. ever since this day, “tryintogetpaid” has taken a strong disliking to our network.

No offense, but this is one reason why people don't like your sites. The constant robot mode. See, I could have easily started this post off with "this thread was brought to my attention by one Kyle, owner of GetStuff4Free." But that gets old fast dude. Just type how you normally would talk, and I think that'd be better. Hell, even Alan (the owner of Transcendent Innovation, Inc.) broke the robot talk to pwn some noob here and at A4F. Plus, the constant self promotion is very Prizebook/Leo like, and aside from FLR, everyone hates him.

No, I took a strong dislike to your network when you told a user you would pay for any referral they brought to your site, legitimate or not. That and other shady business ethics has led to my dislike of you, your "company", and your business as a whole. Again, I have portrayed my side of things privately on A4F through the PM you sent offering me a job, and you know my priorities are with my current job and my current boss.

You have drastically warped the truth to support an irrelevant issue
To directly address the point that you have offered, at one point, in our network's youth, we did offer an individual an opportunity to promote the V-Bux network exclusively. One of the chief concerns that V-Bux members voiced was the inability to verify referrals prior to order submission (at the time, our system did not accommodate this). To compensate for this weakness, when offering the individual the position, we told him that we would issue suspensions on fraudulent referrals, but we still pay him if he paid the user. This would protect him from incurring a loss, not facilitate fraudulent promotion. We take a heavy anti-fraud stance and have implemented one of the most effective fraud-detection systems in the industry, a platform that took over $5,000 to develop. Our affiliates can vouch for the quality of traffic we deliver, which has enabled us to obtain several exclusive campaigns.
If there are any additional instances where you believe we were less than ethical in the operations of our company, I humbly ask you to express these. We take pride in the transparency and integrity of our organization, and, recognize that all input is valuable.

Plus, the constant self promotion is very Prizebook/Leo like, and aside from FLR, everyone hates him.[/quotea779e2abbd]
That's just the way I've been trained to write after years of formal education )
I wouldn't say it has hurt us, though. Once again, we were voted the best Grade B network of the year on A4F and the second best network of the year behind Trainn.[/quotea779e2abbd]
You can't even reply without self-promoting. It's sickening. I know you were voted best Grade B network....I also know most everyone that voted for you had like 10 posts, and 1TR. I guess if they support you, it's fine...but whatever floats your boat.[/quotea779e2abbd]
This was not aimed to be self-promotion. It was simply addressing your point above. Actually, quite to the contrary, our main source of support came from veterans of the community.

P.S. Although I always stray away from bringing personal matters to the forums, I believe that the comment by “tryintogetpaid” warrants attention. He challenged our prize tally, telling users that it was “unlikely” and we were “lying” about it. Maybe in your delusional mind. All your votes came from FLR noobs, trust me. And it's pretty obvious you asked them to vote...none of them were on A4F....then all of a sudden the polls go up and they decide to log in and vote for you... roll

I got two of them on my FLR account last year asking me the same thing.
[quotec53ed5ffea="TryinToGetPaid"]No, I took a strong dislike to your network when you told a user you would pay for any referral they brought to your site, legitimate or not. That and other shady business ethics has led to my dislike of you, your "company", and your business as a whole. Again, I have portrayed my side of things privately on A4F through the PM you sent offering me a job, and you know my priorities are with my current job and my current boss.[/quotec53ed5ffea]

No email was sent to V-Bux members asking them to vote. If you were a member you would know that. Additionally, there is no way to tell who voted on the polls, so I have no idea where you are deriving your information from.

Oh, so now we're typing ABOVE our quotes? No, I'm not changing my typing style cause of you! Ok, tell me Mr. Manzi (licoughlihigh school studentliending my coughli)...how do YOU know that A4F vets voted? How about you go back in the polls and see who posted about voting for you. Then look a little to the left and see their post count, their TR, and tell me if they're an A4F vet, or a freebie veteran for that matter. You got the FLR noob crowd, just admit it, be happy that you got them hooked, and do you.

I thought the mods could see who voted for what. At least that's what I assumed that schizer was talking about.

The admins can see them...yea. I didn't actually see everyone that voted, I was just going by the people who posted things like "V-Bux gives me an orgasm when I need it most" and stuff like that.
Also, with 36 votes or whatever V-bux got...obviously some a4f people voted for the site, which is fine, everyone has a preference...but when I see noobs, who posted twice way back a few months ago, and then never logged into A4F until the polls went up, well, yea...anyway, I'm sorry I'm taking your man-hours away Jon...I hope you can still exceed my expectations everyday.

This thread is so weird. Right now I'm thinking the V-Bux owner made an account here to make a thread to get the network's rank up or he had someone else do it. Plus from the posts I read from V-Bux Jon, I'm getting a bad vibe from him.
Anyway, that J4320 guy is pretty cool -- someone should give him some karma.
