Those of you that use Photoshop, did you buy the software, or are you using the trial? I used to have it, but it was lost during the rebooting of my computer. I think they upgraded it, and now the software is $649!!!

Most download it illegally off of BitTorrent Sites.

Photoshop CS is the name of the game. CS now requires product activation, similar to MS Office 2003 and Windows XP. If you choose to use nonlegal means to aquire the software, be aware that there are only certain installations that can successfully avert product activation. Some say they do but in reality don't. InDesign CS and Illustrator CS to NOT currently require product activation - just Photoshop.
If you're in college/university, you may to check with your school's bookstore to find out if they don't have a license agreement with Adobe. Many public colleges get educational discount prices on software used in their labs and classes - e.g. Office, Photoshop CS, Macromedia Studio MX, Maple, etc.
My school sells Photoshop for only $100, which is hella better price than you'd find elsewhere.
