That I am a guy??? Seriously, in almost every forum I'm at everyone's all like "Hey man, how's it going", etc. Does the little pink gender thingy not give it away? How about the mostly pink icon?! And I did post a picture of myself in that photo thread a while back... I assure you I do not look like a man wink

I mean, I know that most of the people on these forums are guys. But I don't think I act particularly masculine. So what gives? Not that its a big issue or anything. I'm just curious. Also bored D

Then she put some pics on our forums and people found the exact same pictures on a pictures sharing website, and she said she put them there. Then they asked why she never used the ingame communication, she said she had a speaking problem. I still don't know if she was lying or not but its wierd what people will do online.

I've noticed that we seem to have a higher girl/guy ratio than most forums. One forum that I used to post in a lot didn't have a single active female member.

I generally have an initial image of everyone on here...and I've been wrong a few times...but not this time ) For the most part I don't pay much attention to the "Gender" sign, its normally pretty apparent who is a guy and who is a gal.

I got my first check for $500, and sent out $800 worth of orders. I have lost $300 from the site already, and if I am not paid by SC, do you expect me to send out $4000 worth of stuff?

That's part of doing business. Sometime you make bad business decisions and have to take your lumps (and pay out even when you're losing money). If you, and the other site admins who used Search Cactus had read their T&C more closely and been more vigilant about fraud and cancellation you would have known they were going to be reticent about paying you.

If they think youre a guy, then you wont get hit on as much ;)

Apparently I do know something about the situation. As far as ethical business practice is concerned, doylnea is absolutely correct. There are much better courses of action than those you have decided to take.

It is too late for some of us. Offerprizes gave many people a little taste of your way you do business. You obviously don't do it too well and think I deserve my gift seeing that I did complete your site but heck, I guess many people will get a taste of how you do your business and from now on won't participate anymore in any of your programs. P

I know everyone will hate me for saying this but . . .
If someone starts a business and promises to provide a service for people, and then they end up not doing so well, and go out of business, the business's assets are used to provide limited recourse for losses incurred by the customers, but the person that started the business doesn't suddenly take on a debt to pay everyone back. Lets look at an example.

Joe starts a lawn mowing business, provides capitol to purchase equipment and solicits customers to pay him $500 for a years worth of lawn care. Joe uses the money to pay salaries, by more equipment and pay for advertising. Joe being a new business owner, doesn't do a very good job at managing the business's finances and ends up bankrupting the company. The companies assets are then sold and divided up evenly amongst the people that paid for contracts and the doors close. Joe lost his initial investment, his time and tarnished his reputation, but isn't held personally responsible and can start another business if he chooses. The people who signed contracts with him took a calculated risk and could have considered that he had just started up and used another service that had a lower risk of going under.

When you sign up for these offers, you are obviously taking a huge calculated risk, people still do it because the return is very high. If you get referrals for a site that goes under, you've just invested your resources in a high-risk, high-gain investment and lost. It's not really a shocker, even when you sign up for gratis, you're taking that risk. You just have to keep that in mind when you go for a site, if it's new and not proven, the likely-hood of getting your free stuff isn't that high.

Not true. OfferPrizes is neither a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC), nor a corporation. OfferPrizes is recognized, by law, as a Sole Proprietorship wherein the business has no existence apart from EpidemiK, the owner. Its liabilities are his own personal liabilities. He (NOT the contracted) undertake the risks of the business for all assets owned, whether used in the business or personally owned.
