help me make a nice techno cd

could people post names or artists of their favorite techno music...

its really hard nowadays to just type in techno and get good music when there is alot of crap out there....

The closest I'll get to techno is The Faint. When I first heard this song[=http//www.saddle-creek.com/sounds/TheFaint_WorkedUpSoSexual.mp3]this song I really liked them. Here I am a few years later with their whole discography. It's probably not what you're looking for though.

I don't really listen to techno, but I listen to tons of electronic music....Imperative Reaction, Covenant, VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Combichrist, Blaqk Audio, Frontline Assembly, Chemical Brothers, etc. I think you would probably like a lot of that stuff.

I have been listening to trance lately, look up Armin van Buuren; also in the way of trance, DJ Tiesto.

Apparat for techno/electronica. Good stuff.

I may be wrong but I think that Blaqk Audio is actually considered alternative rock. They sound a lot like Depeche Mode to me. Anyways, Tiesto and van Buuren (both are awesome live, especially van Buuren) are good choices.

I would LOVE to see Tiesto live, I did get to see Felix da Housecat and van Buuren live at the monster massive which was nice.
