Stroid is all alone
This site has gotten pretty big and it's growing, maybe it's time to make a new mod. What does everyone thing? Stoid is doing a great job of keeping up, without question, but maybe a little company would be nice. Most importantly, what do you think Stoid/Admin?

There's lots of other mods that just rarely frequent the forums. I'd LOVE to be a mod, but I know that FreeOffersNow is a much better candidate.

Yeah...I wouldn't mind some extra help over at the list of good traders. (Sorry it hasn't been updated lately...I will update it tonight...I swear).
FreeOffersNow would be a great mod, but he already is busy running his own site, which means that PodTopia is probably #2.

I'd say whoever is chosen, if anyone is chosen needs to remain impartial and not allow friendships or other members to influence their decisions. Some mods are better at this than others.

Well CG does do alot he just isnt as verbal as i am, when people mess up i tell them and i have alot of time at work so i get to respond to more people. And as far as the next mod i would offer it to FON he is an expert on this stuff and so is compfreak and collateral. Those people have my vote.

I try to stay impartial but sometimes people that are regulars are going to get more things in their favor due to their contribution to the community. Overall i think im pretty fair, i ban people but if they can provide valid explanations i will unbant them and give them a chance.

Actually i would nominate Jadem as well she does know alot abou this stuff and it wouldnt be bad to have a female moderator. But you did say once before that you wouldnt do it for this site am i not correct

I never said I wouldn't do it, I said I wouldn't either have the chance or be "picked" mostly because there are so many other good candidates. I stated that it's ok though, because I AM an admin for FON.
But before I set that into stone, lemme look back at what I said...and see if I was joking around or not. oops

Well, moderating is tougher than it looks. I do it on a different forum (that requires me to keep track of every thing I do because it's a huge corporate network) and absolutely hate it. With only one mod here, I would think there would be a need for a couple of more, however, I do notice a lot of people here pretty much obey the short list of rules that this forum has. So, I don't know. Does Stoid feel overworked?

Yes i do sometimes but most of the time its not bad...and CG does work he just has been taking a break since for the first few months i posted here before i became a mod he basically was the only mod. Its ok he can relax a bit ) i just wish people would read the rules they arent hard to follow
