Ok so I went to see the midnight showing of saw IV and I was a little dissappointed. I mean the movie was awesome, but it left me with too many questions. And the ending was messed up.

I mean for me to make sence of it I just pretened that the first part of the movie didn't actually happen until the end and they just put it in that order to show that jigsaw's games continued even after his death. Is that how it was supposed to be or did it mean something else.

WTF happened to the little girl that was supposed to be in the game at the end of the Saw III??????

And I kinda just don't like the idea of the detective that was in the earlier movies being the other helper. I mean it just didn't seem like it fit in the right way and that bothered me.

I have to say I have realy mixed feelings about the movie. It was intense and I enjoyed it, but at the same time I feel that it was a let down. I think if the ending was a little less confusing and maybe the little girl was in it I wouldn't be so dissappointed, or maybe that will be taken care of in Saw V. Or if they explained the detective being the helper a little more. . . I mean why was he doing it?

What did you guys think?

I thought Saw IV was the last one being released?

Anyway I've been hearing quite a bit about this one, and most people said they liked it.

I think the first and second were the best and the third was just ok.
Hopefully I'll check this one out soon.

I have trouble deciding, but I'd have to say number II.

I liked the way everything fell into place in the second one, but the first one just has that taste of originality.

That is why I was having trouble deciding. The first one is the original and is great, except for the acting (cary elwes should stick to comedy and adam is the writer director guy and isn't the best either). But the second one is great how everything falls into place. Along with the beginning of the third, I was really impressed how it all fell into place in the beginning. But I'm still mad that they little girl wasn't mentioned.

Yeah.
The thing I liked about the third was how they showed all that stuff that occurred in the first and second one.
Like how the rooms were all next to each other...that was just sick.

Do you really go to the theaters to watch all these movies?
Or do you download them or something?
I see you post about movies all the time in the movie thread, but I don't understand, it seems like if you do go to theaters for all those movies, you must live there.

It was a bit confusing, so many flashbacks. I also didn't like the ending, I thought it was kinda weird and left too many questions.

The act of him swallowing that tape was a bit far fetched too, lol.

I agree with all everything about the confusion and questions, but the tape I kinda knew he was gonna do that from the second one, well maybe not swallow, but I know something was up when he poured the wax over the tape.

True and i completely agree, except that the flashback at the beginning of the movie that returns at the end to the beginning of the movie was kinda confusing.

Oh and I've heard that there will be a Saw 5 and 6 but that is all they have contracts for right now. . . Not sure how true this is though.

Upon the release of the original Saw, the studio signed on for seven (that's right, SEVEN) sequels of the installment =P

Rumor is, Saw V and VI will shoot simultaneously and won't be released until 2009 (instead of the one-a-year thing we've had for the past four years) to "improve the quality of the series".

So I just got done watching Saw IV - Great Movie!! I love the imagination for all these movies. I'm really glad to hear there will be more. Hopefully they'll keep tying things in the way these first 4 have been.

Anyone else think it was hilarious when the girl was being tortured and her hair was being ripped from her skull and what not and then the guy was like "Oh I just got one of the numbers!"
