Monster Massive

A big huge halloween rave in the LA Sports Arena featuring renowned DJ artists and such.

My sister is going with a friend on Saturday, and she invited me to come along... now here's the question (to those of you who may know the answer). Is it worth $60? Or should I invest in some bonds instead?

Is that $60 to pay for some illicit drugs for the rave? Or just to get in?

I was at street sounds on melrose yesterday and 1 ticket was $62! O
there are a couple dozen of these every year but a halloween themed event is kind of interesting i guess.. shrug
The red flag for me was the all ages, probably a bunch of dressed up kids tripping on shrooms and pills.

Take that money, go to your local video game store,,,,,,,and buy the orange box or some other excellent pc game....get guitar hero when it comes out,,,,,way better investment than a party. or better yet,,, get 15 dollars worth of cheap vodka, and then a cheaper video game. once your drunk, you wont care where you are anyway;)

tickets were 80 for vip and all you can drink bar

DO IT! Honestly $60 for a night you will never forget (unless your the shy recluse type) is well worth it. Just enjoy it and have fun.

I went last year and had an amazing time. I was with my gf and friends and I can say that it's probably one of the best times I've ever had in my life. If you're into trance/techno/house scene (not sure what exact DJs are playing even though I know some are the same from last year), you won't want to miss this. Even if you're not, you might like it after you go, so this might be a great opportunity to experience music you haven't heard before.

Don't worry about it being all ages; if you're going to get as drunk as I was, you won't give a shit. I did hear that people bum rushed the entrance and got in. Security can't chase down people in a massive group of wasted/drugged out people.

Nevertheless, $60 was worth it for me. By the way, DO NOT get VIP. I heard that the vodka ran out and that people that didn't have VIP tickets got into the VIP area. Just get the $60 ticket and have a blast.

A lot of kids on E and a lot of lightshows, lol.

Fun nonetheless. I'll be going again next year.

yeah me my sister and her friend were outside in the tent area, more away from the DJ and the arena near that opening there.. next to those dudes that were doing the dance off or whatever and had the big crowd next to them (those guys could dance).
