Ordering pizza online (Dominos.com).

Okay, so we order, right? 1 large pie with a topping, 8-piece breadsticks, and a 2-liter bottle of soda, and we used a coupon so we got it for $12.99 total. It said approx. 35-45 minutes for delivery. It took over an hour for them to deliver, and instead of us getting breadsticks, we got chicken kickers which we don't like. So whatever, I emailed the complaint department...but seriously...HOW THE HELL do you mess up an online order?!?!?!

We'll probably get like free pizza or something. D

One time we ordered pizza and they brought the wrong one, so we bitched, so they said we could get the next one for free. Later that week we ordered the free pizza. It was ALSO wrong, so we got ANOTHER free pizza. We weren't super fussy about the toppings so we were pretty happy that we got 3 pizzas for the price of 1.

I used to work for Papa John's and one of the biggest complaints I had to deal with from online customers was the difference in the wait time. Typically, the time given on the internet is just the average wait time depending on how far away you are, and does not account for how many other orders/how many drivers there are etc. You should call and double check the wait time. And also double check that the order is correct. (I know some of you may say that this defeats the purpose of doing the order online, but the way I see it you can take your time ordering online and browsing the deals etc, and the 30 second phone call to make sure everything is right is worth it) We had a few people come in for orders that were sent out wrong because that was how the order showed up on our screen, people would come in with a printout of their order and we'd show them a printout of what was sent through to us. It didn't happen very often but it did happen.
Also, it could have been just some moron that bagged the order wrong, if you've ever worked at any delivery place it can get crazy sometimes and when you have someone making and order that has to leave to take a delivery, and someone else takes their place making the order they mess something up.
