What to do with old computers

Hi I have about 4-5 old computers that are useless to me and I wish to donate them away. Some specs fo the machines are Quad core processor, 500g HD, 8800gt vc, bluray burner....... I kid, I kid.

No they are really older machines running on win 98 and win 95. I think they are the old HP vectras.

What are the specs? I might be interested in buying the Computers/HDs.

Really just looking to doante the whole pc. Id rather not part the machine out. If anyone has a drop off location or such that would really help. Thx

Just put them in front of your apartment building/house with your garbage, someone will pick'em up. That's what I did with my old HP Pavilion 8250 LOL (p1 133mhz, 32ram, 3gb, 12"screen, paid $4000 when it was high end ) shock

i would but I believe some states have laws preventing electronic waste. Plus it just seems unnecessary as these are functioning computers. I dont see it prudent to stick these in a landfill bound to be piled upon other trash.

These are usable parts and someone somewhere can find something to do with the pc.

If you have a local Goodwill, just drop them off there. They're always willing to take those. I've dropped a couple off in my time -- and I usually hang onto old computers wink

yes, go to goodwill, they will take them

Yep, GoodWill is a great place to donate anything. They can even give you an itemized receipt and you can get good tax write-offs with anything donated. )
