NEW iPods RELEASED!!!!!

NOTE This post will be updated accordingly. When announcements are made about what's to happen on Gratis and OC sites (does anyone remember that PVPs4free had the iPod photo?) I'll post them here. CG, please also update this thread since you've got an "insider" at Gratis.

NEWEST UPDATES[/b207769c791] Apple announces the sale of old iPod photos for $379.99 and $479.99 (40GB and 60GB, respectively). They include the old accessories. Let the speculation begin on whether Gratis will purchase lots of old 40GBs from Apple.

http//www.ipodlounge.com and http//www.apple.com. The iPod photos have been bumped down to 30GB instead of 40, priced at $349, while the 60GB had a $150 price drop and now costs $449. The 40GB has been eliminated. Anyone have a guess as to which will be on freephotoipods? The AV cord has been dropped from the iPod photo, as has the dock.

The iPod mini has been upgraded to 6GB for $249.99, now ousting it's competitors memory. Creative and iRiver all "bragged" about how they have 25% more space, but now the mini is king! The 4GB version is now available for $199. It seems as if Apple's going for the affordability option. Battery life in both models has increased to a whopping 18 hours, again overpowering competitors. It retains the same monotone screen. The color "gold" has been dropped from the iPod mini's line up, and the other colors have been made more "vibrant". The buttons on the click wheel (i.e. play, fast forward, rewind, menu) are now the same color as the iPod mini itself. It's quite acool effect.

Dropped from both packages were the traditional FireWire cords and chargers, which are now replaced with Apple's new USB cord and charger (the one that comes with the iPod shuffle).

Damnit! I new I should have done photoipods sooner....

Knowing Gratis, they'll keep it at 10 referrals for a cheaper item, which would be a MAJOR rip-off, considering that the 30GB iPod is only $350, $50 more expensive than the normal 20GB. What they SHOULD DO is upgrade to the 60GB iPod, considering cash value of the Mac Mini (which is NOW SHIPPING from the Apple site!!!) is $600, and cash value of the new 60GB is $450. Then I'd be more interested )

i think they should go with the 60GB model so then i can get a newer and more enhanced version than everyone else ;-)

I don't know the person personally. I started helping by forwarding things to Gratis, like people who have multiple accounts, etc. As I started helping more, I got to deal with one person there, instead of just the CS department.

Apple has officially announced that the old 60GB will be available for $479.99, compared to the new 60GB for $450. The old one includes Apple carrying case ($29 retail), photo Dock ($39), FireWire cable ($19), and AV cable ($19), which is really a great value. The old 40GB is sold for $379.99. If I was considering purchasing an iPod photo, I would DEFINITELY spend the extra $30 on purchasing the 40GB, considering that you get all of the aformentioned accessories, which add up to over $110, and 10GB more of space. It's a great deal.

I would definately get the 30gb Photo, due to the size. Close to the weight and thickness of the 20gb 4G. That was the only thing keeping me away from the Photo, the size.
