im pretty sure cruise got 100 mil for one of his movies.. war of the worlds maybe? and close to 100 mil for his others. he has a different type of contract or something to that effect, where he is able to profit better than other actors.

3D isn't all it's cracked up to be. At least with Pixar films. I watched "UP" in 3D and it just seemed a little more "dimensional" than a regular 2D pic. I didn't feel like I could reach out and touch the objects or that they were going to hit me (which I thought was partially the point of 3D). Either way, I don't feel like it's worth $17 a ticket.
