Tv on your PC

Hi guys, I was looking into getting TV on my bedroom computer and came across this

Does anyone have any feedback about these types of programs?
It's only $50 for a lifetime membership...that seems awfully cheap.
As far as my connection, here is a sample of my internet speeds


So what do you guys think about this?

Don't count on it. Virtually all of those are a scam, or nearly so. They will provide you with a client application that provides the same streaming feeds that you can get elsewhere for free at places like ChannelChooser.com and others. Which includes no major networks, no premium channels, or anything like that. You'd be wasting $50 IMO unless you just LIKE old TV shows, foreign channels, and crappy porn feeds.

Oh...Ew. That sucks, I thought it was too good to be true.
I was curious because it had no list of channels or anything.
The only thing was that I googled a couple reviews and they said they were good.
Anyone else got feedback for this?

Just beware of shill review sites. ;)

I'm not saying it doesn't work (in most cases), I'm just saying the content is mostly crap and is available for free elsewhere. At best it's Free-To-Air satellite feeds that somebody is capturing and streaming. But not what you'd get from a real satellite service. No major US networks, poor quality, mostly foreign programming, etc. The internet is full of these "free satellite TV on your PC" services exactly like this. Virtually all ask for an up-front one-time "signup" fee... because once you have the service you'll realize that NOBODY would pay a monthly subscription for the stuff. If it was any good they'd make a helluva lot more money charging $9 a month or something.

But by all means, give 'em $50 and let us know what you think. ;)
