Transformers the Movie

Just got back from it.....




Bay did an excellent job

The movie was GREAT lol

On a scale of 1-10?

9 for sure, I see lots of movies and this was def one of the top three I have seen in years as far as action movies go

The CGI was outstanding, story line was believable, acting was above average for a movie like this

Transformers looked f'in real

I know it's based on a kids' toy and show, but is the movie appropriate for a 9yr old? My son's dying to see it and he wants his 6yr old sister to see it too, but it seems like it's geared more towards teens and adults...He'll just be so pi$$ed off if his dad and I get a babysitter for him and his sisters to go see Transformers ourselves, 'cuz we want to see it as much as the kid does! wink

maybe some bad language, no T & A....

maybe scary for little kids?

i loved it.... funny parts all over the place and fantastic acting and like i'm sure many people are saying, the CGI was out of this world (heh). There wasn't a lot of graphic violence with blood and guts, and nothing sexual except for one or two scenes with people kissing....

The preview they showed right before Transformers looks amazing, when the preview ended I was so pissed because it was captivated by the small clip they showed. Aparently the film is still untitled which would explain why they didnt give one in the preview. -)

I know for sure a sequel will come since the kid dropped the cube and some other things turned into transformers.

yeah, it was really good. worth the money atleast compared to these other summer movies I've seen.

Just saw it and REALLy enjoyed it. I completely forgot that it wasn't real, the CG was amazing, and the story was good, with good acting.

However....

And if HE knew then shouldn't O.P. have known, and shouldn't they have planned that beforehand as a "last resort" instead of putting it in O.P.? I'm VERY dumb when it comes to movies so maybe I just missed something.[/spoiler8ea6d19517]

My sister said it was the best movie she has seen in years. I'm going to try to catch it this week...

Finally saw it yesterday...it deserves all the hype. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute. And I swear, if I were 15 years younger and single, I'd be all over that cutie Shia! wink

Seeing Prime with lips ruined the entire film. ;)

I saw it today. I thought they did an awesome job with the CGI. I loved it every time they transformed from car<->robot. However, I did think there were a lot of cheesy parts.

[spoiler3dab53af0e]It seemed like they forced the relationship between Shia's and Megan's characters. I know, it's the cliche nerdy guy in school gets hot girl from rich jock. Also, I didn't really like how they gave the transformers human colloquialisms (because they studied humans). Like when that one transformer is talking about "chilling," etc. Obviously, they were targeting the teen crowd. I just think they should have been more "other-worldly." I also thought it was silly that the transformers were relying on an eBay auction page to find Shia's character.[/spoiler3dab53af0e]

My last complaint about this movie is all the blatant advertising. It was disgusting. Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro, GMC, eBay, Apple (although, characteristically, more subtle), etc. Other than all that, I'd give it an 8/10. I'd definitely see it again )
