If your're a barnes & noble member, then they are pretty good.
You can also check out walmart.com - they have a textbook section.

I usually buy from half.com. I've only had a problem one time and it was because the book was advertised as the wrong version.

And how much you save with half.com depends on the books you need. Last semester I would have saved like $10 so I just bought from the university store.

The semester before that I saved $362. I remember that number because it was such a big savings.

So you just have to look around. And sometimes if you buy on half it doesn't come for the first day of classes. But depending on the university you may be able to buy it from the university store and then return it during drop add week. Thats what I do. . . buy all my books from the store and then find them on the internet. If I can get it cheaper I will and then return to the store for the price I paid during drop add week.

How much did you see it for? I found it on half for $30.

It was under the 5th edition but the user comment was that it was the 2008 6th edition if you were interrested.

Just noticed that it is the instructors Annotated edition but here is a link if you are interrested.

It's time to buy the wifes college books. The college uses barnes and nobles as their book store..

Is half.com still a cheap place to buy?

I didn't get a chance to check for this semester yet. But I bought my books at the university (and will return if I find a better deal) but I spent over $600!! And I already had the one book that I needed.

Books are such a rip off!

I'd have to agree with the eBay, I bought a lot of mine from there. Just type the ISBN # and it'll bring them all up.

Watch out for international versions. They claim to only have a different cover, but I bought some and some were unusable because questions and answers were different in the books, pages sometimes printed so faint you couldn't see and the paper it is printed on is so shitty sometimes it just falls apart in your hand.

Amazon is your best bet because there's so much competition. Either that or upper classmen.
