If you live in India, speak very little english, and dont' understand how to type numbers into a computer to activate a satelite reciever you can work for direct tv.

Sorry. . . I just have a little hostility towards Direct TV and outsorcing right now. I'm doing some sub-contracting for them and I get paid by the job and I have to call and activate the receivers after I install them. And it pisses me off that I have to deal with talking to people I can't understand and having them fuck up and then me be on the phone with them for an hour and a half when the install itself only took an hour. twisted

If you can't tell I've had a rough day with activations (

I am interested in getting my hands on such a list, also. But [id711d63a18]please[/id711d63a18], only real jobs that pay wages - NOT "business opportunities" that require upfront payment! If anyone has one, please PM me...

The sad reality is that it would be easier to just get off your ass and find a real job than find some pie in the sky list of jobs of that nature paying a decent ammount of money.

"send earnings" is legit and pays for simply reading emails. They send one or two a day. Ive made 29 cents from reading 10 emails and you have to earn $40 to be able to cashout.....

I also do some mystery shopping (not working at home but you get my drift..) and 19/20 job offers i get arent even worth a second look.

Let's relax. He is obviously not referring to people that need to stay home for health reasons.

You may want to look into Amazon's mechanical turk.

I was replying to the author of the thread not to you skepticalcynic i will say this though

[quotefb5fd3d29d="skepticalcynic"]
You may want to find out what you're talking about before running your mouth. I run the office of a trucking company 45 hours a week for a nice salary - AND I am a breeder of show-quality goats and chickens. In fact, with the low cost of living here, my husband and I are more than comfortable.[/quotefb5fd3d29d]

http//webhollis.com/albums/Funny-Forum/Want_A_Cookie.jpg[" alt=""/imgfb5fd3d29d]

[quotefb5fd3d29d="skepticalcynic"]
BUT - my husband is disabled due to long-term congenital illnesses and spends about one-third of his time in the hospital. He would really like to do something to keep himself busy during the times he is home as that would greatly contribute to less hospital stays (Doctor's advice, as a matter of fact).

THAT is why I am interested in such a list!
Neither one of us needs to work at McDonald's (a "real" job, according to you)! We just like to keep busy and always seek to improve our lives.

So like I said - get the facts before showing your ass![/quotefb5fd3d29d]

I dont care about your sick husband and I never even mentioned McDonalds.... shrug looks like you've let your emotions get the better of you and you've ceased to make sense. I didnt show my ass in this thread. I could bump the "post your pictures" thread but i dont think the rest of the forum is as interested in seeing my ass as you seem to be.
perhaps a PM or an email is in order? Think about what you say before deciding to become an e-thug

[color=greenfb5fd3d29d]There is no such list with legit, well paying, stay at home, decent paying jobs that dont require an "initial investment". [/colorfb5fd3d29d]Countless people have searched and have came up empty handed. 99% of people cant even find ONE. Do you really think someone would be in a rush to tell you of any such programs if they even existed?

This won't help many, but Jet Blue has work at home people take calls. Their offices are in Utah though. My sister in law does that.

They do exist, just hard to find.

Really..i would rather sit on my ass on home taking calls part time then taking orders at a fast food place..but that is just me /

jdizzle314

20-06-2007 23:03:44

Also i have seen jobs in which you get paid to take calls for diffrent compnays and also doing things like activating phones for something like 8 and hour or so..so talk what u know..

Ps-To the person that gave me the list plz me me thx = )

I know that Hilton Hotels pays something like 12.00/hr to take reservations at your house. They re-route phone calls to your number.

Do you have any idea where to look for the Hilton one?

Actually, such programs do exist...A lot of them...

Transcription services, phone services, tutoring services...

I have a huge list of work-at-home jobs that I'd be willing to forward for a green wink

JUNIOR6886 quit being such a dick all the time.

And it wasn't really a thread-jack... I would consider a thread-jack to be trying to take over a topic for your own purposes. It was just a little fun, a play on words, and the OP didn't seem to mind.

ChaCha is hiring only by them, now. It's not as easy to get in.

I'm still in the program and I've made around $60 just doing off/on searching.

I made like $40 in a couple weeks.. I should start that up again.

I've also send you a PM with more details...

But, first, let me say this to everyone...you [bf862c7df1d]NEVER[/sizef862c7df1d][/bf862c7df1d] pay to join a mystery shopper company. I know there is a lot of places out there that charge you to join their "list". DON'T!

Go to shadowshopper.com, its free to join. They have a list of mystery shopper companies. Pick a few and see what you think.

I work for about 4-5 companies during the month. No, it doesn't pay alot, but if its something I was going to do anyway, why not get paid for it?

I signed up for shadowshopper but instead of a list it just wanted me to upgrade(PAY for) a membership? Any others good ones that don't charge?

I don't know anything about Mystery Shopping jobs (but sounds like fun and I'd be interested). I did find a few work at home jobs from this site. I haven't tried any yet, but it seems like a solid site.

WAHM is a good site to check frequently for opportunities. As far as shopping, the chick that posted above is correct - /do not/ ever, pay for info on mystery shopping. It's a scam. Also be aware that sites who promote themselves as whistleblowers or whatever (ie google text ad that says 99% of ms companies are scams) are [iadb72604ea]also[/iadb72604ea] scams ;) Mystery shopping is not easy. It's hard work at times and requires dedication and attention to detail. If you don't like writing essay type reviews forget about it now. And yes like any real job, though you are an independent contractor you have to start small and build up your trust and dedication with companies to get to the better, more lucrative opportunities (sorry Junior). But it is [iadb72604ea]worth it[/iadb72604ea]. Since I became a shopper over two years ago my philosophy in life is "I don't pay full price for anything!" I even put it on a t-shirt[=http//www.cafepress.com/mysteryshopstop/1588114]t-shirt haha wink And I truly don't. No, it's not all from shopping but rather just a new way of looking at life - always taking a few minutes to search for better deals, coupons, rebates, surveys, whatever. SO, since someone here originally passed me this information I will do the same and pass it to you all. To get started with legit MS companies go here http//jobs.volition.com/exec/sfs/jobboard Volition has been the board to check as far as MS/merchandising/etc for years. A good starter list of companies to sign up with is here http//www.volition.com/mystery/MSDaily.html Just don't step on my territory - stay out of southeastern PA! twisted

Oh, and for other stay at home (or anywhere!) opportunities - I do product opinion surveys online. Just like the companies that accost you in the mall and ask if you want to do a survey about spaghetti sauce ) Currently I work for and have received multiple payments from 3 companies - the best is Pinecone Research, but they only open enrollment every so often and it's not open now. The other two companies I actually get a small referral commission for bringing new people in so I'd appreciate anyone interested using my links to sign up with the sites 8) Of course ref links are not allowed here so just pm me if you want the info! Aaaaand you're welcome )
